The place is not as badly designed as other reviews suggested. Just boringly and inattentively. The music was extremely loud, we had to leave once it started. But the food is actually quite descent, even if my kebabs were slightly overcooked. The menu is in Russian (which I can read), but the restaurant did not have all the items (I asked about all soups e.g. and it had maybe 4 out of 8). I chose the one the waiter recommended and it was good indeed. The prices are low also and the location is one block from all other restaurants.

Really nice Russian place, very classic. It is what you would like, if you want to experience Russia, without any fancy stuff. Nice food, portions and reasonable prices.

The place is reasonably-priced with a tendency to overcharge for the most stereotypical touristy dishes. Food is quite good there as well as service so I'll probably eat there again.

we went there with our family for a lunch ,5 pers , i choose the restaurant based on the comments of tripadvisor .i must say that it wasnt a good experience , poor food quality , no typical food offered , a pale copy of international cuisine!!! they are serving all dishes in wrong order , you get the coffee first , salad after main course ...... i will not go there again

Even though the service seems a bit slow at first, it is very worth it - all dishes are made to your order and are very tasty. The service is good and the prices are reasonable, I would definitely recommend dining there, especially bearing in mind the average quality of restaurants in Uglich
