Although we are frequent visitors to the Kapiti Coast, this was one of the few restaurants we had never visited. What a shame..! We obviously missed out on many great meals over the last few years..!Everything was perfect, from the heat level chosen for each dish to the presentation and service. Thai Lagoon will now be a regular venue to visit whenever we are down south.

Branched out and tried a different Thai restaurant and was so glad we did.Beautifully present food that tasted great!! A bit on the mild side but it takes a couple of visits sometimes to work out "hot" between different Thai restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Tasty Thai curries that were not too hot, but really tasty.Whole cooked fish was also tasty and intentionally more spicy hot.Service was adequate and friendly but slow. Prepared to cut some slack considering it was Monday night (when many eateries are closed on the coast) so prepared to accept slower service response.

Lovely people, very clean and an attractive menu. I had the duck Pad Ped (stir fry with red curry paste) Thai hot. It was absolutely fresh and delicious. Not sure what wifeee had but she liked it. A nice glass of guritztraminer and a roti on the side.
