地元ではかなり有名な押し寿司です。間に魚が入って表面は海苔がついたものでかなり美味しいです。最近は真空パックのものもあり日持ちがするのでお土産や引出物にも有名です。

夜、目的地に近いところでお寿司を食べようと、たまたまネットで見つけたのがらこのお店。「さぶ」と読むようです。行く30分前に電話をしていったら、女将が、店の前で、店の目の前にある駐車場を案内するために出て待っていてくれました。運転があったのでオーダーはノンアル、刺身、寿司は特上盛り。その日はお盆前で、仕入れが高いということでしたが、案外リーズナブルな価格でおいしくいただくことができました。お店の人や、帰省していた顔馴染みの人たちとの会話も楽しかったです。また次回があれば、来てみたいと思います。

I went to this place a yar ago and loved it. I went again yesterday again with a friend and we had a great time and ended up shopping and staying for dinner. Today at lunch we took her boyfriend there and they charged us 3 times the price. No warning, no explanation. I was a loyal customer. No more.

小政寿司に引き続き、連夜の寿司屋訪問です。この店も良かったです。ネタは新鮮で、ボリュームもありました。但し小政寿司さんよりは高かったです。

ＪＲ北陸本線魚津駅からすぐの所にあります。いわゆる「富山湾鮨」を頂戴しました。天然の生簀と言われている富山湾で揚がった魚介を握ったもので、ネタとしては、イカ、ベニズワイガニ、メジマグロ、ヒラメ、バイガイ、香箱ガニ、シロエビ、ブリ等がありますが、ここで頂戴したウマヅラハギには改めてこの魚の旨さを再認識しました。ウマヅラハギはここ魚津では、「如月王」と呼ばれており、冬の味覚の代表格ですが、握ってもらった身は締りがよく弾力のある歯ごたえとなっており、その身の上に産卵期で大きくなった肝をのせ、ポン酢で頂戴しました。あっさりとした白身と濃厚な肝の食感の妙を堪能でき、ウマヅラハギの何ともとぼけた顔の表情とアンバランスの旨さとなりました。

We recommend this place not as a gorgeous sushi bar but as a casual daily place. Today we identified a young lady tourist coming in. The fame of the place may be spread on the waves of such comments on travel. Note that this is the place for locals which means not so much time to communicate with you in English or Spanish. The owner chef and workers are quite busy. Just tell them your budget and interest. From 1,000 JPY, they will treat you well.Our recommendation is Buri-Daikon, or Cooked yellowtail and Daikon-raddish. Of course sushi. Assume, or chefs special would be perfect with very reasonable price at around 1,000 JPY. Toyama-wan special is the highest, 2,500 JPY. From 3,000 JPY, you can get a course of dishes. Those are far above the 5,000 JPY course in Ginza.

Sushi Diamon is what you would expect of a, sophisticated, top of the line sushi restaurant, Order the omakase course and enjoy the very best of local ingredients, including rare sake.
