We really enjoyed our experience from the appetizer to the dessert. We both ordered margaritas which were very good and were delivered stacked on the server's head. My wife ordered the rib-eye steak and I got the chicken enchiladas. Her steak was cooked the way she ordered it and was tasted excellent. My enchiladas were delicious as well. We topped off the meal with the tres leches cake, yum. The service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Overall a great experience and we will be back.This is such an amazing review! It was four years since our previous visit to Playa and our anniversary dinner at The Grill, and the restaurant remains a first-class choice for magnificent dinners. We ate there twice on this occasion, and had wonderful experiences on both nights.Rogelio was our server, and it was a fun reunion since we remembered each other from our visit in 2015. He is a master at pacing the meal and providing inconspicuously attentive service. His food suggestions were on-target, and he spiced things up with a couple of tasting samples for future reference.We had steak and seafood meals, and all were beautifully prepared and tasty. Filets, prawns, and crab cakes were top-shelf, as also were the side dishes.Our desserts were unusually beautiful and tasty - works of art that were almost too nice to eat (but we devoured them anyhow).I'll wrap up by saying that we eat out most nights, and have a good perspective on how the best restaurants measure up on both food and service. Myself and my husband have just returned to our hotel room after having an evening out on 5th Avenue. Having been told about Sur we thought we would try it and we cant be happier. The food is amazing, literally the best steak I have ever had! This is now my favourite place to eat in the world. If you like steak this is a restaurant you have to go to.The service was exceptional 'Jorge' our waiter was brilliant. Top class service and Sur should be proud to have such a great person working for them. They made our night even more special after discovering it was our honeymoon. We will be back before we return home.

The salad and hot food bar has huge selection that I decided it was enough for me. And it was. My husband and daughter had the full service with seafood and meat and they said it was better than some famous churrascarÃas in Houston.The service was also excellent, friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. They also have the best restroom in Playa.We are pleased to know that your experience with us was to your liking. My husband and I along with our friends visited this restaurant last Monday after reading the reviews on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The husband and wife team who own this restaurant were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The steaks we ordered were fantastic and the Tiramisu was the best we had tasted outside of Italy. My friend and I ordered a G&T and it was made (with all the trimmings) at our table, just delicious. I wish we could have visited again before coming home but unfortunately we didn't get the chance. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting playa del Carmen

I visited Harry's while with my mother in playa del carmen, we had read a review on here but didn't really know much. When we arrived it was a little hard to find but there was a man who showed us the way. On arrival we were greeted by our waiter Omar, the service was excellent throughout and the recommendation was spot on. The bread that was brought out to begin with was beautiful and you could tell it had been made fresh. When the steaks arrived they are carved infront of you and they ask multiple times if everything is alright with them, which it very much was. One of the best steaks I've ever had the pleasure of eating and would definitely return and reccomend to anybody looking for amazing quality meat and service.
