We took the BuqueBus $25 tour of the city to get oriented thinking we would later explore more once we saw what we liked best. There isn't much to see and we didn't explore anything but more historic district. The old bullring reminiscent of the coliseum in Rome because of its shape and ruin only was the only spot of any interest and it pales in comparison since so much smaller and more recent. There was a nice beach area with woods and artisan stalls at the end of the beach area but nothing particularly special. Not worth $25 for 10 stops not worth stopping at.

I hope this is the worst restaurant in the whole country... cause worse than this itâs difficult! Very unfriendly service. The squid rings were clearly out of the freezer and the salmon was already cooked (the crust on top was impossible to cut). Unfortunately I didnât have an internet connection and couldnât check the reviews. Please remove this place from the Lonely Planet!!! Next door with 700 U you can get a menu for two persons! We paid 1895!!! Simply ridiculous... hopefully everyone is aware

My wife and I had lunch there after the walking tour on historic downtown. We've paid 415 pesos Uruguaian which included free parrilla, salads buffet, jar of soda (one per person, can be switched by beer or wine), french fries and dessert. I'd recommend It.

While walking through the beautiful town of Colonia, we walked past this quaint outdoor area and saw a sign for sangria. It was a hot day and that sounded perfect. Our waitress, Alejandra, was great...helpful and friendly. The sangria (she suggested the white) was AMAZING. We also had their delicious nachos and guacamole. Great place!Very kind your words! We wait for you again !!
