We stayed in Lugano and went to Italy to visit some old churches. It became rather late and we decided to gave dinner in Italy rather then in Lugano. It too some time before we find this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. It was really a hidden gem.Very good cock, fresh ingredients, local dishes, nice and not pretentious atmosphere and excellent price-quality rate. The quality of food was higher then in average restaurant in Lugano and the prices much lower. Highly recommended! It is only 20-30 mints by car from Lugano.

They speak only in Italian and they don’t want to speak in another language (English). We got pizza after 30 minutes, but some another Italian guests who came after us, got their pizza earlier than we do. And finally pizza was really good, but in general I can recommend this restaurant just for locals, we felt bad in this restaurant.why do we have to speak other languages in our house? Here is a restaurant not a convention center. You have too much presumptionWhat law requires us to speak other languages?mahThis is the result of globalization but, we are sorry, we are old-fashioned, we are traditional artisans. This is also our food. You're off topic and out of time, we do not make it upset. If we want to hear your complaints then we must also change the kitchen; we have to introduce frozen foods, ready meals, canned and dehydrated foods.Because if you accuse us of being traditionalists it means that you can not understand that this is also the food we prepare and put in your stomach. As we say in these cases, go to McDonald's there you will feel at home, certainly not in Naples

My family and I went for Easter to cantinetta caprese as i suggested we could enjoy some tasty food all together. We have been several times before and it was always very good. The place has a big room inside and an outdoor terrace which is great during the summer. We ordered some mussels as appetizer (they were plump and sauce lovely) and octopus with potatoes (good), then as mains we took lamb (as it was on the daily menu, good but a bit dry, i expected more), some pasta (amazing but slightly too much al dente) and a fish (very good). We took some dessers which were good but did not blow me away this time except for the caprese which is always tasty and soft.Overall a wonderful meal even though for the price we paid (very high) I would have expected more especially from the lamb.Service was friendly and the atmosphere nice too.
