We went there for Saint Valentine, the overall experience was excellent, however they need to improve service when crowded.As expected, for this day they were crowed, we order the recommend dinner for the night. Each meal came with a drink, which I suppose was designed to have an specific plate with an specific drink, but since they ran out of ice, the first drink came out late, and the drinks were overlapped, there was a moment when we had two different drinks for the same dish.Regarding the food, all dishes were excellent, except for the octopus, mine was excellent but my wife's was a little under or over cooked which made it more difficult to chew.Dear BernardoThank you for visiting us on such a special occasion, your opinion is important and we will take it into account to improve our serviceWe hope to have a second chance on your next visit to La Asunción.

...but it should not influence the food quality, maybe the prices. One of the few places that serves traditional Margariteño food, best Pastel de Chuzo in Venezuela (no wonder, Ruben has invented this dish...).

This was our second time in Trimar. I might not come back. Service was very slow. They were out of few items. Foforera only had tripa de perla, nothing else. Waited for over an hour for paella.

It was extremely busy when we were there and service was still very good. Our waiter spoke perfect english, Was not super friendly but definately provided adequate service. Margaritas were huge and extremely well prepared. Would recomend eating here if you are in Sambil mall.

In my recent trip to Isla Margarita, me and a couple of friends decided to try this new place. Food was amazing but service was AWFUL....waited almost 40 min for drinks, waitress was the worst ever, rude and unfriendly, let us waiting over 30 min for dessert to then find out they were out of it. Asked for check and waited again over 25 min, finally we got up so we could pay, when I start complaining to owner, he just asked me for my credit card and ID so I could pay. Really? Never again! Food was awesome thou, compliments to the chef, but owner and personnel have no maners.

After so many years I finally visited Margarita Island and tried, twice, this amazing traditional restaurant. The food is simply extraordinary, with great combinations and variations of traditional Venezuelan dishes, such as "asado negro" and "bollo navideño". There are so many nice things to say about this restaurant that is hard to know where to start, from the beautiful historic house where the restaurant is located in Pedro Gonzalez, to the kindness of the entire staff, in particular Chef Esther Gonzalez, who spend a lot of time explaining the dishes in detail and making us feel right at home. This is a truly authentic restaurant that I strongly advice anyone visiting the island to go and enjoy. A must visit. Highly recommended!!!!
