Reviewed By Maria CThis is cute little hotel. The hotel staff is attentive and nice. We spent 5 nights in this hotel which has 3 floors. We arrived at night and were assigned a room in the lowest floor (pool level) and were told that there was not availability on the other floor. We could not get a very good night sleep because of car notice from the street and woke up to personnel setting up the furniture in the pool. We complained and immediately moved to the 2ndo floor. It happens that the other floors were being painted/fixed. The rooms faced the pool and had sliding doors that open to a small balcony. The sliding doors don't lock, no on the renovated room nor on the second one. The room door had 2 key locks but only one worked, so a maintenance guy came a fixed the second lock. The elevator does not work so this is not a hotel for people with mobility problems. Also at the time neither the internet (only front desk) not the point of sale works, so to pay for the room we sat by the front desk and pay via Zelle. The breakfast room is quaint. Breakfast is offered orally, and Sra. Maria makes the best empanadas. BTW, on our 3rd and 4th morning Sra. Maria kitchen helper was attending the breakfast tables. On the 4th day he tells me that he was off for the next 2 days which meant please tip me now. I complied by putting $5 on the table. He told me that he shares the tips with Sra. Maria, so I replaced the $5 for a $10, $5 is for you and $5 is for Sra. Maria. Please tell her that the tip comes from me. He assured me he’ll do so. The next day Sra. Maria came to offer me breakfast, so I mentioned her tip. She said she did not know what I was talking about and reassure me that her assistance never mentioned anything to her. I hope managers: Sr. Martinez and Sr. Gonzalez, can train their personnel better in this respect.

Reviewed By PABLO HDefectos del hotel : 1- el hotel esta lejos de todo : tienes que caminar 800 metros para ir a la playa. en una carretera donde pasan carros a alta velocidad. 2- no hay nada en los alrededores. Para comer, salir, ir al cajero, tienes que tomar un taxi. 3- cuando llamas al hotel, nadie contesta en el 90% de los casos. Muy practico cuando tienes que avisar del retraso del avion para avisar el taxi reservado !!! 4- en la tarde y en la noche, hay mucho ruido en todo el hotel y en las habitaciones, debido a la musica muy fuerte puesta por los empleados para los empleados porque no hay clientes. Como no podia dormir, tuvé que levantarme a las 2 am para decir a los empleados de bajar el volumen. Lo que hicieron pero sin disculparse, mirandome como si fuera un extraterrestre. 5- el hotel estaba como vacio cuando estuvé, he visto 4 clientes un dia, 2 otro dia. Extraño en plena epoca de Carnaval, cuando todos los otros hoteles estan llenos, no ? 6- el desayuno : aqui no se trata de un buffet apetitoso, no ! Llegas a un lugar donde hay una mesa, y tienes que esperar 30 minutos para que te traen dos arepitas con un huevo, un minuscula porcion de mantequilla y mermelada, un jugo, y un pequeno cafe. 7- a menudo las llamadas telefonicas no salen del hotel, ni los mensajes de texto. PD : Reservé el hotel Titanium, asi esta escrito en la factura, pero el cartel de entrada dice IKARATON. Si desean vivir una pesadilla, bienvenidos ! Mejor evitar este hotel si quieren pasar una vacaciones agradables. Saludos

Reviewed By Adriana BI would like to go every year to this place, the staff is so friendly, my husband and I were feeling like king and queen, excellent attention and the food OMG, the chef is a great professional. it was the best decision ever, we paid a complete packet: room with a/c, 3 meals plus snacks, boats to go to the closer beaches, umbrella, chairs, towels & cold drinks. if you like water sports they can help you to find the right people. we did Windsurf with Oscar, excellent instructor! & Mr Amelio is so kind and helpful.

Reviewed By BenottoMSono stato in questa posada nel 2010. Posada composta da 5/6 casette che comprendono 2 stanze cadauna. Non aspettatevi chissà che appartamenti, normali con pochi confort. Comunque sia consigliato per chi come me qua ci tornavo solo a dormire. A 10 minuti a piedi dal mare di playa El agua. Ci tornerei adesso. W il Venezuela
