Reviewed By scott sThis is a very good resort I had a great time as the entertainment was very good and so was the food and drink and the beach and swimming pools are a good way to relax and if you go to the beach there a lots of things to do I went snorkelling and a tour of the island on a bus that was very good fun but it’s not part of the hotel you will see the guys in the hoodies who will have lots to offer you it’s worth the price.

Reviewed By pelorrucho38These are fully furnished apartments (one or two rooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony). The building itself has a pool on the rooftop with a very nice view to the beach. In my personal opinion, it beats every hotel in the area.

Reviewed By Insua JExcelente!! 1000% recomendado, este es un edificio de residencias con las opciones de un hotel, tienen restaurante, gimnasio, piscina, playa privada, el edf presta servicio gratuitos toldos y sillas en la playa, los mejores restaurantes de pampatar y centro comerciales a menos de 5 minutos, para mi una excelente opción en familia, ya que dispone de apartamentos de 2 habitaciones, 1 hab y tipo estudio, todos con baño propio y lencería, el edf cuenta con wi fi gratuito, de verdad una de mis 3 mejores opciones de la isla.... 95/100

Accommodation Los Roques Vacation Home. Each of the four units that make up the house are totally independent and each one is equipped with the necessary equipment and services for the comfortable stay of groups of up to four people, only additional companions are allowed in case of families with children or babies. Each unit, approximately 100 m2, is distributed over two floors and has the following environments: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room. Two of the modules have direct access to the sea and the other two, direct access from the Lagoon. In the units you will find: Fridge Gas stove Electric oven Coffee maker Utensils and tea towels Table service (silverware, glassware and cutlery) complete for 4 guests Cooler Fans and Air Conditioning Lingerie (sheets, bath and beach towels) for 4 people Digging Color TV and Direct TV service. Safe Guests will be received by our Hostess who will provide personalized attention and guidance.
You are in paradise so nothing else matters
Reviewed By Pasticho1979Upon arriving in El Gran Roque, the main island of the beautiful archipelago of Los Roques, you may as well take your shoes off and never put them back on again. You have officially stepped into paradise. But let me tell you about Aquavit. Bearing in mind that accommodation in Venezuela is never going to be absolutely five stars (you need to keep an open mind), Aquavit gives you pretty much everything you need, A La Venezuelan style. The apartments are rustic and absolutely gorgeous. If you are lucky enough to get the sea view, you are going to love sitting outside under your parasol, looking at the boats and the pelicans go by. It's breathtakingly beautiful. Any villa/hotel in Los Roques will offer you food on a fully catered basis or specific meals, on request. With the fabulous food at Aquarena (next door) and Doña Julia's arepas opposite the front of the building, skip breakfast and dinner at your apartment and go there for lovely food. The fish arepas are delish! NOTE: Aquavit charges in US dollars and the meals are nice but not over the moon great. You will get a cooler with refreshments and lunch for your days at the beach upon request. This is a must as you have to travel by boat and there is nothing at all any of the Quays/Islands. I gave this review four stars because even though there is nothing that can dampen the experience of being in Los Roques, we had issues with our hot water and water supply for the duration of our stay. We had two apartments, and one of them was fine but we had to call in the service people every day with the same complaint. You don't need a hot shower after a day in the sun, but there was an issue with the water supply to the toilets which proved to be challenging and was never fully fixed. You will experience the occasional brief power cut but that is absolutely normal. Also, as you are on an island, water is scarce and desalinization plants are used to purify sea water, so don't be surprised if you shower in lightly salted water. For some the water issue may be a problem but believe me when I say that once you get to this beautiful place you will never want to leave! General note when travelling to Los Roques: minimum 50SPF sunblock, please! This comes from an olive skinned Venezuelan and the sun is stronger than the hottest place you've ever been to so don't be a fool and burn like I did on your first day. You want to enjoy but even a rash guard is advisable a few days into your visit. To summarize, Aquavit was a great place to stay with a perfect location and great staff (not mentioned earlier because they got my thumbs up) but just note some of the issues that you may experience, if you are at all fussy about these things. Other useful info about Aquavit: - There is air conditioning in the bedrooms - There are fans in all of the rooms, living room included - There is a fully fitted kitchen and refrigerator - Open space living room/dining/kitchen area, two double bedrooms, two shower rooms Oh, and take plenty of Venezuelan currency (Bolívar Fuerte) in cash as credit cards are not accepted.

From water availability to lifts not working 2 nights with no reception, pool not in service for 4 out of 7 days, supervisor not really interested, guests to visit with alot of difficulty, many problems with penthouse and some not solved till we left

CasA caribe has a all that is expected form a hotel/apartment it's elegantly styled, comfortable and friendly . Its location is perfect enough for relaxation, or just 2 blocks from beach, shopping or the night life of a beach. I can't wait tell I go visit again. Loved it

Un sitio acogedor y muy tropical con unas estancias bastantes cómodas y Bellas. Son, sin lugar a duda un encanto desde sus terrazas hasta su horno de leña. Todo te atrapará.
