First of all we were surprised how diffucult it was find open restaurant in Wajima on mid April Tuesday afternoon. So, it was not surprise this was was full - including Chinese group, which got all attention of staff.Menu with fotos was just ten different items and despite my wife speaks some Japanese, they were not that helpful. We got two meals, both quite pricey (1700¥) bowls. Mostly rice, but some really fresh seafood. Unfortunately there were tasty bits only top of the bowl, rest was some 'not that popular' stuff. But those slices of tuna and salmon were really good.For drinking they served only water, not green tea or sake available - though there were tens of bottles.Finally, quite dissapoinment.

Wajima wasn't exactly buzzing on the rainy wet Monday night I was here so it was a relief to find this small, friendly restaurant On the far side of the Juzou shrine. I had a salad and a fish / vegetable dish in bubbling hot chilli and garlic butter. Perfect food for a rather dreary evening.

What a wonderful place we accidentally found. Walking along the street facing the ocean we stumbled across a red lantern with food from ocean, river and mountains written on it. It is quite small inside but this only adds to the atmosphere. The other guests who were already there made room for us. The food was delicious and local for the area. The sake was enjoyed by all. What an amazing atmosphere. Will definitely be going there again.

輪島市内の能登丼の店が水曜日定休日の所が多く、やっと水曜日に店を開いている店を見つけ、すぐに電話予約していきました。少し疲れた佇まいの店でしたが、大きな窓が日本海に面して開かれており、初めて波の華を見ることができました。この店の能登丼は、寿司めしで具は八種類どのネタも新鮮で言うことなし。値段もお手軽です。後から観光タクシーがお客を連れてきていますので地元でも評判が良いのでしょうね。

有名な朝市を楽しんだ後に昼食でうかがいました。昼前の11時3半に行ったのですが、満席でしたので名前を書いて待つことになりました。皆さん出足が速いです。しばらく待って入店ができました。この後もどんどんお客さんがやって来ていました。人気店なんですね。珍しい「ブリのたたき丼」をいただきました。ブリのたたきとネギが満載の丼です。醤油を好みの量をかけていただきました。クセが全くない新鮮なブリです。ちょっとボリューム的には足りないかな？味噌汁のワカメが肉厚で美味しかったです。

2018.05.06訪問。朝市を見学してから、こちらのお店でお昼ご飯。外観がおしゃれで、価格もリーズナブルだったので選びました。まずは食券を買うスタイルです。海鮮丼（１７００円）、朝市定食（１８００円）、能登丼（９００円）をオーダー。海鮮丼は新鮮なお魚がたくさん乗っています。プリプリでおいしかった！お味噌汁はツルモという海藻が入っていて珍しかったです。朝市定食は焼き魚とお刺身、お味噌汁のセットです。能登丼はお魚はヒラマサでした。こちらは小さめサイズです。お土産のお箸付き。お料理は本当においしく満足しました。店内は２人がけの小さな丸テーブルが４つと、カウンターがあります。うちは３人だったので丸テーブル２つ使いました。椅子がスチール製の背の高いタイプなのでお子様連れにはおすすめしません。テーブル席のすぐ後ろに大きな３連のゴミ箱があるのも個人的にはどうかと。あと、バイトでしょうか、若い女の子２人が、手持ち無沙汰のときにはレジのところで突っ伏していたりしゃがみこんで雑談しているのは、良い印象は受けませんでした。
