We found this restaurant following a recommendation on Facebook. The chef/proprietor was previously the chef at the Royal Victoria and we had been impressed with his culinary skills. We were shown to our table in the charming courtyard under plane trees and soft lights. The staff were courteous and friendly and explained the menu knowledgeably and with enthusiasm. The extensive wine list featured many excellent local wines including a stunning Nebbiolo from Mamete Prevostini. My starter was Tagliatelle with Prawns and Wild Mushrooms in a delicate delicious sauce - stunning - and my wife had pasta with lobster and a bisque. Main courses were veal with truffles and pate and my wife chose fish which she declared to be delicious. The portions were ample so we shared a dessert. As the meal ended both chefs visited each table to receive feedback. We really enjoyed our food here, spaghetti with clams, shrimp ravioli plus the main course of Iberian Pig. The quality, the presentation and the taste superb and couldnât be faulted. However the standard of service was poor, truthfully they had insufficient trained staff and as a result we only got 1 of our main meals, the other 3 came 20 mins later. This was acknowledged by the restaurant but clearly it didnât enhance the meal.

Good family restaurant with good service. Pizzas are huge and would recommend for 2 with a side salad. Pasta dishes nice, in particular seafood one. We shared a meat platter to start and there was enough for 2 or 3 people.

A gorgeous spot on the lake. Beautiful view.The food however was on our table in 5min, and just not that great. Especially the pasta was a bit blend.Made it all feel very touristy.

We stopped off whilst cycling around the lake â bike racks were full but was easy enough to park our bikes against the outside terrace within our reach and constant observation.Service was friendly, but slow â seemed to be just the one person on duty having to cover everything, and she was trying her best on what was a busy day.She warned it would be a 30-min wait for food â we were fine with that â ordered 2 pizzas and when they came up, they were plentiful and tasty.Good value and lovely location enabling you to look out over the lake as you relax.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Seafood dishes seemed most popular. We tried the seafood pasta and the sea bass since both were recommended by people we had met in town. The appetizers were very good as was the wine.

Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. Came for lunch and enjoyed the great location right next to lake and decent food and good service. Dinner was a little less special as same menu no specials, tepid monk fish lacking the va va vroom its outside premises appears to promise. Casual dress, next door to camping site. Would revisit for lunch and maybe give second chance try, maybe more local pizza and pasta, overall it's nice location and ok service just not as special food wise as it looks. Apparently great drinks terrace on roof, so maybe a bit more a couples and young persons place.

Me and my boyfriend have been in the restaurant and the food is great! The Chef is really nice and funny. He made some jokes with me and then he invited us to drink some of his self made Limoncello. It was a really pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I hope I will see you again for some more jokes and more of your awesome pizza!!
