The food at Unser Boot was outstanding. Don't be put off by the relatively limited menu, the lovely fresh fish was delicious. One of us had the whole sole, breaded and fried. The fish were huge and had a wonderful texture. The other tried the cod loin on a bed of fennel. Highly recommended. As was the white chocolate liqueur we had to finish off our meal.That evening there was a delay in the food arriving, due to an unexpected lack of staff in the kitchen, but we were kept informed by the friendly staff, given the liqueur "on the house" to finish and the quality of the food erased any memory of the delay once it arrived.Do book ahead though - it's not a huge restaurant and you're unlikely to get a table otherwise.

Das Käpt'n Pupkes liegt etwas auÃerhalb von Hohenkirchen in Mederns.Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig, Preis/Leistung sehr gut. Leider ist die Akustik nicht gut, so das man sich am Tisch sehr schlecht unterhalten kann.

This family owned restaurant, my spouse and I came upon while exploring the fishing village of Hooksiel. We became hook to Hooksiel ever since. We wandered into this restaurant for supper one evening in the fall. We were welcomed in and seated into the quaint and intimate space where we sat by table light and reviewed the menu. The menu is cater to local catch and food in season. Please pardon my failure to document the meals we had; but to me honest I don't believe all the dishes will be the same. Well, except for the potato (lol). My husband fried cod and I had a drilled fish suggested by the owner. The entree were served with house salad and potato. We topped it off with beer and Jägermeister. The food was superb. It will be a must visit we return.

Dropped in for drinks and a snack. Wish we'd arranged to go for dinner too ..... Lunch being served at the time we were there looked great.

Fischhändler Albrecht ist in Harlesiel natürlich der Platzhirsch und in der Saison recht überlaufen.Janssenâs Harlesiel (es gibt auch Filialen in Horumer- und Hooksiel) bietet aus der Theke neben geräuchertem und frischen Fisch auch Fischbrötchen und -salate in ordentlicher Qualität an, sowie ein Imbissrestaurant.

Fischbude am Hafen. Ambiente so lala, aber wenigstens sauber. Reichhaltiges Angebot, freundliche Bedienung und Beratung.Fisch war gut zubereitet, Portion gerade ausreichend. Matjes war sehr gut, Backfisch habe ich schon besseren gegessen.Hier fährt man aufgrund der tristen Hafenatmosphäre sicherlich nicht für ein romantisches Abendessen hin, für einen schnellen Snack aber durchaus OK.
