Enjoyed ramen bowls, tempura, edamame beans and beer with the family while staying in town. Place was full on Saturday night. Squeezed in behind sliding screen, shoes off, smiles from locals. No English spoken. Menu in Japanese. Ordered with phrases, pointing at othersâ food and mime! Tasty and easy going. Glad we werenât turned away also busy.

Had the iwana set which was excellent. there is indoor and outdoor dining. refreshing ice cream for dessert. Little to no English spoken but menus with reasonable pictures. Grilled fish seems to be the specialty so would recommend that. there were three kinds of fish. Iwana or ayu are excellent; I haven't had the 3d type of fish.
