Stumbled upon this find while downtown and was pleasantly surprised. Signage is awful but inside decor, staff and craft brew selections rock! Had a few apps as well and all in my group approved. Highly recommend this place and you gotta try the guacamole and chips. Fantastic!

This is our go-to diner. Great food, and a great environment. We usually go on a Saturday, but we tried the burger Monday special and it is probably the best restaurant burger we've had in Waterloo. Server was excellent and the prices are bang on. We will return.

Date of Visit: Sunday, June 17th, 2018 (dinner)Every Sunday we go somewhere for wings, appetizers, and beer. Tonight our travels brought us to Edelweiss. They have a lot of good beer and ciders on tap. We had the Cauliflower bites for our appetizer - and they were good. well-cooked, and lightly seasoned with a ranch dipping sauce. The wings - we had red Thai and buttery blue sauces. The Red Thai is good, but not amazing, but the Buttery blue is quite spectacular. I only wish the waitress got our order correct, so I could have had more. ( i explain this later). The wings were a decent size. they were well cooked and not overdone. The flavours were very tasty. The service: it was good - the waitress just misheard us I guess. We ordered 1 lb of RED THAI and 1 lb of Buttery blue, but there must have been a miscommunication because we ended up with 3 buttery blue, and 4 Red Thai - or in other words - 1 lb total of wings. I only ate 1 buttery blue while my husband had 2. we both really liked the buttery blue, but I let him have the 3rd wing. Other than that tiny mix up...everything was fine. This was the hottest day of the year so dar 40degrees outside, and inside, while it was cooler - the A/C wasn't at full capacity and thus a little muggy in there. The bill - it was cheap - because we only got 1 lb. Overall - good place for a quick meal and a beer that won't break the budget.

Very fun place with modern atmosphere and every night the have a different type of entertainment on the go. Service is good fun and friendly. Great pup grub! Good wings burgers and the nachos with the cilantro cream and beer cheese sauce are to die for!!!!

Good day...five in the group....seated right away....atmosphere on a sunday was hopping...server and all involved in serving were quite professional....all dishes served were acceptable....the only quibble is the pricing....as an example, sweet potato fries came to $14.00 with tax and tip....that is a touch much....all in all, positive experience, just overpriced....

My husband and I came here as my husband is a beer lover :) They did not disappoint. They have a huge selection of draft beer (over 30) plus bottles. They had two kinds of wine and the white was Pino Grigio which was perfect for me.The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We got an order of fresh cut fries (delicious and certainly fresh cut) and in future I would be tempted by salad, wings and also the burger.There is nothing overstated about this place. It's a great place to grab a couple drinks and some good food. Service was excellent. Quite a hidden gem, we will be back!

I havenât visited this establishment since the whole Sportplex Complex up and disappeared. Used to visit back then as primarily a place for drinks and appetizers. Visited last night as a place for dinner with our daughter and grandkids. We all (5) ordered different meals and we were all pleasantly satisfied. Service was great, atmosphere was fun/lively without being loud, excellent patio which unfortunately doesnât have a great view but good just the same. Moderately priced! Would recommend it for families and friends but not a romantic dinner for two.
