In my opinion one of the best choices in Hannover. Good food, good drinks, sometimes live music. The staff is kind and quick and prices correct (portions very generous. I had read much about Alexander and purposefully attending on Monday for Schnitzel night - a full range of Schnitzels at â¬7,95. I was disappointed with the Zigeuner Schnitzel - the sauce was more bottled than home made. The range of draught beers was wider than usual including Gilde, Becks, and Herenhäuser and prices are not as high as elsewhere in Hannover. It is facing the Schauspielhaus and just round the corner from the Paulaner local at Thielenplatz.Sorry, but the sauce of the "Zigeuner Schnitzel" is homemade!!!
