My fiancé and I came to the crown and anchor because we were having vehicle troubles and had to wait for a tow truck. I ordered French onion soup and the special which was prawns. He ordered the mushroom burger with fries and gravy. My soup tasted like lemon for some odd reason and the prawns where quite over cooked and rubbery. The best thing I tasted was the homemade seafood sauce to dip them in. I couldn't even attempt to finish my soup as I made a Puckered face the entire time and wasn't even asked how things were. My fiancé had about three bites of his mushroom burger and said he couldn't eat it so attempted to eat his fries which where nothing more then greasy mush. Plus his beer was warm. We payed the 50$ bill and left and will never return to that dingy hole and I would recommend no one else eat there either. We were highly disappointed. Also they had three bouncers who were chitchatting at the entry way who didn't even acknowledge us or step outta the way as we tried to pass threw them and there conversation upon exiting.

I'm currently sitting here typing this with sticky fingers. I'd like some more napkins, but I may have to phone in to get service. It's not busy, but I'm being ignored by my bartender/waitress nonetheless. The wings were pretty good, and the beer cold, but the time I had to invest to get the attention of my waitress isn't worth it. She's too cool for school. Food not that good, service terrible. Karaoke unbearable. I won't be back.

We ended up here for my birthday, which happens to be on valentines day. We completely forgot to make a reservation, forgetting how busy the crowds would be on valentines day. These guys were great! We ended up at the bar, which turned out to be a lovely experience. The bar has enough space between sections that you still feel that you have privacy. The drinks and meals were incredibly fast given the amount of patrons. The servers were all nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. I really don't have a bad thing to say about this place! You HAVE to try the sticky toffee pudding! It was so good!

We had just come to the hotel restaurant (The Office) for the 2 for 1 Prime Rib night. When we got there we we're informed there was a wait but we could order the same special at their lounge. We sat ourselves and our server (who was also the bartender) was quite rude explaining the special to us as we had never been there before. She brought our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. She came once to check that our food came out ok but never came to refill drinks and left us there for 40 minutes AFTER we we're done eating. We had to ask another server to bring our bill but they didn't. Finally our "server" came to ask if we we're done and I expressed my disappointment about being ignored all night but she couldn't care less. I don't know if the whole establishment is understaffed or if she treated us poorly because I was the only person of colour but it is safe to say we are definitely not coming back! The food and portions we're decent but not enough for us to try again or even recommend to anybody else.Dear Rachel B,Thank you so much for your candid feedback. 6 of us were up in Grande Praire for business and decided to go to the Red Rock hoping for some good BBQ.The server couldnât seem to remember orders long enough to write them down.We tried a variety of the menu and the only thing that wasnât a complete letdown was the dill pickle soup.I had the texmex brisket skillet it was smothered in so much queso sauce you couldnât even taste the brisket.No one else finished their meals for one reason or another.Sadly, we will not be backGood Day Suzy,As GM at Red Rock I am terribly sorry to hear of less than ideal experience and from your description, it certainly does not sound like the level of quality that my team and I strive for. I have spent many happy hour or two at OJ's............. Great service, fantastic beer and a great atmosphere. Usually I do not eat there........... however, yesterday that changed. Ordering fish and chips, I awaited my meal. A narrow plate appeared, featuring a large chunk of fish atop the chips. Not sure why this comes on such a small plate. The large chunk of BATTERD fish was quite oily and whist I cut into this monstrosity it began to ooze oil and grease onto the chips. Further inspection revealed BATTER between half an inch, to one inch thick, moist and stodgy. Your yearly allocation of artery clogging cholesterol. There was some fish in there, albeit, precious little, probably an 80% BATTER / 20% fish. ... and I'm being generous.Joe's has some great meals, BATTER and chips is not one of them. Avoid.

Were going to go to the restaurant but with the Olympics on decided to pop into the pub so we could keep tabs om what was happening. As other reviewers said the room was quite comfortable, not overly busy and the service was great! Our group of 6 had salads, pasta, burgers, and what Major's has been known for, a Ukrainian plate. Everyone was impressed with their meals especially the salad. We would not hesitate to go back here!

Stopped in for lunch, I don't have to look at the menu as I know I am having the Cobb Salad. It is like no other in town! Everything is so fresh and the homemade garlic dressing is great! They cook the chicken to perfection and the bacon on the salad is so yummy! All of their food is always presented extremely well and very good! Service is also great too! Thanks Ladies! This was our first visit to this place and we did not leave disappointed. We had for lunch the steak tips sandwich, him with fries, her with salad. Glass of wine each, all was lovely. Perfect portion size, super flavors. Especially that steak sauce !!!!!! After we were done and declined anything else, our lovely waitress brought over a complimentary dessert. "Honey cake" I believe it was called with whipped cream and two spoons. She said it looked like we were having a really nice lunch date and she thought this would add to the niceness. Very impressive. We are back to GP after our last visit three years ago and now this place will be on our regular date list. Thanks guys!Good Evening!
