Upon arrival in Grande Prairie we decided on making this restaurant our stop for supper. We were not disappointed! The service was quick, our server was friendly, informative and cheerful. 6 of us were up in Grande Praire for business and decided to go to the Red Rock hoping for some good BBQ.The server couldnât seem to remember orders long enough to write them down.We tried a variety of the menu and the only thing that wasnât a complete letdown was the dill pickle soup.I had the texmex brisket skillet it was smothered in so much queso sauce you couldnât even taste the brisket.No one else finished their meals for one reason or another.Sadly, we will not be backGood Day Suzy,As GM at Red Rock I am terribly sorry to hear of less than ideal experience and from your description, it certainly does not sound like the level of quality that my team and I strive for. We were greeted and seated quickly. Menus and drink orders were taken and delivered. We gave our order and after an hour we noticed that others have been seated after us and had appetizers and food delivered to them. Finally flagged down our waitress and asked about our order. She checked on it and surprisingly it was up next. The one order the baked potato was cool and the cheese was not even melted. The waitress took it and said we can microwave it. I thought a baked potato was BAKED not microwaved. She then tried the chicken burger and it was cold. The potato came and we asked if the sandwich was to suppose to be hot or cold? She said hot, well its not. They offered other items and it was refused because the meal was late and we were not waiting another hour. It put a damper on the evening with not everyone enjoying a meal. We did talk to the manager and all they could do is give use a discount. Overall we not go to this location again. Thank you for taking the time to leave a rating and review. We truly appreciate you taking the time. I am sorry that you did not have a great experience while you were in our establishment. This place is sooo good! Been many times and lots had takeout several times too. Always bring visiting from out of town family and friends here to show it off! The smoked meats are all very good! The brisket is my favorite! We usually get the platters to share for a taste of everything since it's so hard to decide on just one dish!
