Perfectly located steps from the main gondola , Thomaselli is a good spot if you are at the base for lunch. They have a standard range of Austrian dishes (schnitzels, salads, sausages, and other dishes like burgers). The backhendl salat (leaf salad with chicken schnitzel) and the putenstreifen salat ( turkey schnitzel with gemischter salat- a salad of vegetables with a yogurt garlic dressing) come recommended. Service is efficient and quick, enabling you to get on your way to the slopes again in no time. there is a full bar - and seating outside as well when weather permits.

We took the lift from Grossarl and walked about 30 minutes from where the lift left us. Wonderful setting, good music (local...), very good food. The kids have a lot to do, there is a large outdoor play area.

Die Jagahütte liegt mitten im Skigebiet Dorfgastein-GroÃarl in Ãsterreich. Von der Sonenterrasse hat man einen herlichen Blick ins Tal. Aber nicht nur das, auch das Essen schmeckt gut.

Wir sind schon zweitemal gewesen. Vor dem Kaffeehaus gibts ein grosse gemütliche Terrasse. Nach zwei Hot Dog haben wir ein Bubble Wrap mit Eis bestellt...Ich kann nichts mehr sagen... einfach genial! Jede muss ausprobieren! Super nette, freundliche Service, wir gehen immer gerne wieder

Situated adjacent to the middle gondola station it is very popular with skiers in winter and with hikers in the summer. Also popular with families with young children who have been gold panning nearby. On this visit the interior was not open so the outside terrace was very busy but nevertheless we were well looked after as we quenched our thirst before continuing our hike down the mountain.
