We entered the restaraunt and wanted to eat with 'la carte' (dinner menu with lower price). And waiter told us, that dinner menu is valid only for smoking area. And if we want to sit in non-smoking area, we should pay full price in dinner time!!!!The worst ever restaraunt in European Union...

We stopped by here as a family (6 years old & 2 years old) for lunch. We just had pizzas & drinks, but the pizzas were excellent, the service friendly & quick & the prices reasonable. The place is nicely decorated & I am sure would be a pleasant venue to enjoy some drinks after a day on the slopes - it is only a few minutes from the bottom of the new gondola lift in Bad Hofgastein

As planned during December stay in Bad Hofgastein, this time we decided to try out DAS FRANZ Restaurant in Salzburgerhof. The place is indeed a great culinary experience and worth recommendation. And, what is sometimes more important than taste, they understand the approach to a guest as most important âingredientâ, offerin high service standard. During our our 5-day stay in Bad Hofgastein we went there 3 times and every time got satisfied! Coming to Bad Hofgastein once or twice a year we will definitely become regulars here!

Agriturismo/farmerhouse in Austrian style. Very small but very picturesque place. All is cooked in front of the client on the fire place. Foods are bio and the beer produced in the farm. I suggest this place for a very different and nice dinner mostly in the warm months: when you can eat under the stars in the open air! Medium/low price.

A party of 7 open-minded eaters. After the first visit, everybody agreed to repeat again in our one week's holiday time. We've tried many foods, the lentils pancakes, Asia Wok, Garlic bread... Only the Rösti Burger was disappointing, lacking the taste. The waitress serving us was both times the same, pleasant, fast & efficient. For sure we'll be back.

We took the lift from Grossarl and walked about 30 minutes from where the lift left us. Wonderful setting, good music (local...), very good food. The kids have a lot to do, there is a large outdoor play area.

Really special meal. Waitress was very good at explaining the menu to us in impeccable English!Made the mistake of having soup and main course as no room for dessert!!Great portion size. Amaxing soups, ragout and wiener schnitzel. Good hpuse wine. Lucky to be staying in Unterberg and so a short stroll for us but worth a drive!!

We have been stopping here for years. The owners and staff are absolutely charming and friendly. We are always greeted with a drink on the house on arrival each season. Half Finnish- half Austrian Elona is the epitome of a professional waitress and is always smiling. The choice of food is outstanding; kaspressknoedel in sauerkraut, Kaiserschmarrn, when the weather is nice BBQ sausages, kasnocken....I could go on. There is always a happy atmosphere on the usually sunny terrace. Great choice of drinks including the Enzian schnaps that has won the highest Austrian award. Wake up you rip-off Swiss alpine food outlets. This is how it should be done. You also walk away with money left in your pocket!
