Overijse (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈoːvərɛi̯sə]) is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in Flanders, Belgium. The municipality comprises the town of Overijse, and the communities of Eizer, Maleizen, Jezus-Eik, Tombeek and Terlanen. On December 31, 2008, Overijse had a total population of 24,410. The total area is 44.43 km² which gives a population density of 549 inhabitants per km². Overijse is surrounded by an extensive woodlands (Zoniënwoud/Forêt de Soignes), with walk- and bicycle paths. The community is regarded as a very attractive area in which to live.

We stopped here for lunch having know the place for years when we lived here. It always has good food then and a nostalgic visit was in order. We were not disappointed, the pasta dish was good and tasty, the pizza my wife had was superb. The base nice and thin , cooked in site of the restaurant with a really good flavour on the topping that was fresh and light. The waiters were friendly and polite too. The toilets clean. Whatâs not to like?- nothing. Love this place.

In Belgium it is very difficult to find a good, simple and authentic prepared pizza for ânormalâ prices. In Tervuren however, you find everything of that! The pizzaâs arenât the typical kebab-overloaded or BBQ pizza for 16â¬, instead, a great thin base, a few toppings at a price around 7-11â¬. All pizzas are prepared in a real fire oven. You donât need and want anything else. On the restaurant side, nothing fancy at all, wouldnât recommend it for your first date. We sat there but it isnât really a restaurant, there is no table service. Itâs a few tables and chairs and a self-service fridge. Take-out or delivery are mostly done at this place. The owner is doing everything himself. All in all, not a fancy place, but an excellent pizza at a great and honest price!

No frills, just a wide range of pizzas and pasta with a few Indian style dishes. The pizzas have a fine crust and pleasantly crisp, not a Neapolitan style. Fillings are plentiful and some of the special pizzas are truly delightful. The pasta didn't rate so highly, too rich, but they will certainly be appreciated by many.Don't expect trained service, quite casual but effective and friendly. Terrace is OK but quite noisy certainly in the early evening.Highly recommended for family or casual dining, probably not a place to go on a first date.Reasonably priced.Will go back and try the Indian dishes.
