Shiraz Restaurant Darmstadt Persian oriental specialties in Darmstadt . Catering & Delivery highest category. Lunch buffet & lunch menu - beer garden & terrace.
We came for dinner to this nice Persian restaurant on Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt. All service personnel was very friendly and attentive. Food came quickly and in very large portions. Everything tasted great and very special. A lovely place with interesting interior - highly recommended. Is this a helpful review? I have visited this restaurant with my friends based on its high scores. The staff was very friendly and he made us feel almost home (we are all Turkish). We ordered lamb shish kebab with that excitement and we all got disappointed. The meat tasted very different from lamb, which could be its source or the spices, eventually we couldn't even eat it. We left the restaurant hungry. I suggest eating vegetarian dishes in this restaurant and avoid meat.

Djadoo ,,Magic of the Orient" That's why we chose this name: DJADOO called MAGIC , and we do not want less than to enchant you with carefully prepared dishes in a lovingly designed ambience. Experience with us with all their senses, which holds the Orient
Such a beautiful place a bit outside the Darmstadt centrum. We were welcomed by a super friendly staff and offered a refreshing drink as starter. The main course was absolutely scrumptious! The marinated chicken was so tender. The dessert was huge so I couldnât manage it all, unfortunately. 10 out of 10, would go there again!

I didn't really like the restaurant. I was there once and wouldn't come back again. The interior of the restaurant is very simple, and tables are small and placed very tight. As a starter, I had a plate with selection of different starter choices. I was surprised to find potato salad and sauerkraut, typical German food, among other starters on this plate. Why would it be served in traditional Maroccanian restaurant? Other starters didn't impress me either - they just didn't taste to me. As a main corse, I had Lam Tajine. Meet was sinewy and chewy, and vegetables were overlooked. Further, my friends had other main courses, but they all looked a like. There is a German restaurant across the street, which I saw on my way back. I thought I would rather have eaten there -- it looked much better inside, had comparable prices, and, most likely, they know it better how to cook meet and vegetables, along with potato salad and sauerkraut. I would rate food in this restaurant as 1 star. I give 2 stars in my ratings to admire friendly and polite service.
It is an avarage Doener place. Not bad, not that great. Service was almost non existant and I thought the price for a a caprese salad @ seven euros for a sliced tomato, a leaf of basil, two leafs od salad and a few slices of mozzarella was too high. My friend had a pizza that looked about average @ 6.50 euros. If you sit outside in Summer the road noise is substantial.
