Nice location close to forest ,near to public transport.Big beer garden and modern interior inside.Welcoming and skilled staff,seasonal cuisine.German food,Pizza, salads and vegetarian options freshly made,very good value.We were a group of nine, service was efficient and friendly.Was not the first time we were there and won't be the last time,very recommended.

The local restaurant have frendly staff. Chili chicken for dinner tast good. Only you can pay with the local german EC card, after telling her that I only have MasterCard I could also pay the MasterCard, strange!

Right in the center of the village of Rossdorf, there is the historical Restaurant "Zur Sonne". Bas Wieland, the dutch owner and cook and his friendly stuff do their best to serve you well at very reasonable prices. Besides a broad variety of freshly prepared "standards" on the menu, there are wine specials, seasonal offerings (e.h. mushrooms, Christmas, etc.), regional specialities (I strongly recommend their South-African weeks!) and the like. Local people love this place.Highly recommended!

Das Lokal ist eine echte Bereicherung für Mühltal. Das Essen, egal was man von der Karte wählt, ist göttlich, das Personal super nett und bei schönem Wetter kann man sehr gut draussen sitzen. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Immer wieder.

Zum wiederholten Male waren wir jetzt in diesem Restaurant und haben wie immer sehr gut gespeist. Die Vorsuppe hätte für meinen Geschmack etwas heiÃer sein können, aber geschmacklich war sie sehr gut. Hauptgerichte sind sehr gut portioniert und auch fürs Auge gut zubereitet. Leber ist zu empfehlen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, aber können knapp sein. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Rundum ein gelungener Abend.

What else can you expect from a good restaurant? This restaurant is a few steps from the city center, but worth the short walk. You'll like the cosy atmosphere and the friendly staff - and you won't have to complain about the food. They offer mainly traditional German dishes, which are all of an excellent quality. The helpings are more than sufficient. Ein Bodenständiges gutes Restaurant in dem man satt wird. obwohl die Preise sich in normalen Höhen bewegen ist die Qualität der Gerichte besser als gedacht. Wir waren mit Freunden und Familie dort. Jedes Essen war sehr gut von der Qualität leider hat man über das sehr gut gemachte Schnitzel am ende noch eine FertigsoÃe gegeben. Sonst war alles Super wir gehen gerne wieder hin. Preis Leistung ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut.

An einem Wochentag trafen wir uns zum Essen. Es gibt EINE Speisekarte, Aperitif bekamen wir und eine Flasche Wasser. Pasta war gut, Salat konnte man nicht bestellen. Nachtisch gab es auch hier EINEN, mousse, der als 1 Klecks ohne jegliche deko kam. Das war es dann, es kam nie wieder eine Frage nach Getränken, Kaffee oder wurden Teller abgeräumt! Als der einzige weitere Tisch bezahlte, gingen wir auch. Unglaublich wie sich dieses Lokal bei dem Service hält.

Hier schmeckt es nicht nur gut, man sitzt im Biergarten auch sehr schön. Der Service ist tatsächlich nicht professionell aber sehr engagiert und supernett, was mir letztlich lieber ist. Alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, daher muss man auch mal ein bisschen Geduld mitbringen. Ich bin froh den Darmstädter Hof für uns entdeckt zu haben!

With a group of 10 people we visited this restaurant. Since the weather was warm and nice, we wanted to sit outside. The waiters were efficient and friendly, and the food really good. They provided a varied selection og fish, meat and vegetarian meals. It was interesting to see the decorations and stuff belonging to the (hammer) mill. I'd love to come back to this place!
