Things to do in Lund
I'd say that the strenght of this place is that it is quite genuine middle east food, not complicated, quite light, fresh.I have been here twice and the meze plate was the best of the alternatives I have chosen. The second time I ate a Zeituna bulgur, which was a big bowl of bulgur and although nice, it was a bit too "blend" for being so big. I would have wanted some minor variation to the taste. A bit more olives, or feta or tomatoes. In both case, the bread I got to eat was warm and very very nice. A big plus to that! The cafe' has good affordable prices, perfect for a student town, without being too pretentious. The pity is that the probably it needs to be a bit more tidy, the last time I was there the floor was having a little bit too much food rests and in general, it looks a bit torn.Food is approved, the atmosphere could be a bit refined. Anyway, a good place to eat a good lunch!

I was really looking forward to the opening of Mezaya around the beginning of 2019, when its windows still covered in renovation paper were merely announcing the imminent arrival.I have to say I have not been disappointed, as the centre of Lund was missing precisely this type of establishment with a good lunch buffet, and this has now materialised, and in one of my favourite cuisines at that! The variety of dishes is impressive and everything is always freshly made and quickly replenished when the supply appears to go low.The staff is nice and willing to help, especially when it comes to finding a table during the very crowded lunch slot between 12 and 1pm.There is also a promise of a dessert coming soon to enrich the existing selection... baklava, anyone?
Freshly shaved of the scewer all veal and crispy veggies .... i would and maybe should only rate with 4 out of five . Why ? Ill tell you why ! See me as a customer dont really like when the server think of themselves professional .... i likr it more when the things "speak for itself " ... anyway good food ...

The falafel tastes great and the best of it that a big one costs 35kr, a normal size costs 30kr. Note that they only take cash (and Swish if you ask nicely)

Restaurant Sandra is well known in Lund and has been around for 30 years. In April 2016 , we opened the doors of Restaurant Sandra with a new concept. On the new menu is a majority meze, grilled dishes and some classics like our own fondue with oriental t
I went there with friends and we ordered a range of mezes plus a couple of dishes with meat on skewers. Everything quite tasty (the real taste of Middle Eastern cuisine), with the owner very helpful and keen to give suggestions. We would have stayed longer if it had not been for the early (9:30pm) closing time. All in all, a very satisfactory experience.Hi Giorgio, Thank you so much for your visit and feedback. we are glad you liked the atmosphere and the dishes. We wish we could have been open more.

This is such a great hummus bar with a lot of different things to choose. I always pick the one where you get hummus at the bottom and maybe 5 different things on top such as boiled eggs, Moroccan sauce, aubergine, falafel, mushrooms and some spices on top of that. And you also get two piece of bread which makes the whole meal complete. The price for this one is around 90kr which is pretty good :) after you eat this, youâll not be hungry for a couple of hours :) the place is located in front of Lund central station, make sure you visit this place!
