Tucked away in a small courtyard off the street is an unpretentious sign announces Govindas restaurant. Don't be fooled, this is one of the best vegetarian places in Lund. Inspired by India, the food is fresh, tasty and interesting. As for most restaurants in Lund, this is a smorgasbord style restaurant, with no choices but the daily offering. Take a tray and follow the production line down to the servery area and enjoy a delicious meal. If you are gluten free, they always have gluten free option available. The happy staff always serve food with a kind word and a smile. And if you are not gluten free, remember to take some bread - it is always delicious. Desert and salad included, if you can fit them in. There is a lot to like about this place - big serves, reasonable prices, pleasant service. But be warned, at 12 midday the place becomes packed and you will be lucky to find a seat - so get there early if you want a table - and it can get pretty noisy. Don't be surprised if someone comes to your table to ask if they can sit there as you are finishing your meal. It is the one drawback of this place - it is just too darn popular! But that tells you something - the food is good. Absolutely worth a visit.

With family in the Lund area, we make trans-Atlantic trips to visit frequently. After sampling much of the cooking in the city, we have to say our best meals were here. Absolutely great wine and drink list to start with. Entrees are always wonderfully prepared, and they're as much French as Scandinavian. Seafood is impeccable . . . try ANY oyster if available. Meats are cooked deftly, never overdone. Vegetables actually a highlight on every dish. Staff is wonderfully welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Give this delightful spot a try . . . I don't think you'll regret it.

After my favorite (unnamed) sushi place in Lund experienced severe drops in quality I decided to try out Rå Epok. I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi is good albeit not excellent. In comparison with other sushi places in Lund this one has more of a sit-down restaurant (cool design) feel to it which makes it more suitable for business lunches and couples.

As the name suggests this restaurant specialises in steaks and very good steaks at that, with a true American broiler taste. They come generously garnished and the additional mixed sale I ordered was not really necessary. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there seemed to be a very good line in cocktails, which I did not sample. My only negative point is that food in general in Sweden seems to come with a level of salt that is above that we are used to in the UK. Atmosphere here was relaxed and the service was speedy and efficient.

We were greeted by nice staff who showed us to our table. Throughout the meal he informed us about the contents of the different dishes in the 4 course set menu that we had chosen. We also chose the wine pairing and were given information about the wines too when they were served. Tasty bread was served in the beginning. The first dish was perch with oyster and black radish. The second one was tartar of lamb with celery and cheese. Next we had lamb with cabbage and mushrooms, which was my favourite among these dishes. The dessert was apple with pistachio. We liked it all and it was obvious that the chefs want to create meals above average. To conclude, altogether there was professional service, nice staff, very tasty food and very good wine pairing. This is a restaurant where we definitely would like to have dinner again some time.

The food-street in Lund is Klostergatan and on number 14 you find our cosy little crêperie. In the mornings we serve the best breakfast buffet in Lund and after this we turn on the griddles where we prepare the most delicious galettes and crêpes you can imagine all day long. Brunch, lunch, dinner, bar until late!

This creperie is a real surprise in Lund! Fantastic crepes, tasty and genuinely made. Lovely service, as the staff really takes care of you from the very moment you enter the restaurant.
The environment is very cosy and relaxed, it almost seems to be home. This place is authentic in everything: the food, the service, and the wide selection of Normandy ciders. All for a very decent price! I would definitely come back!
Ps: I would just add some side dishes to the menu
