We've eaten here a few times now and if I'm honest the service has been on the decline since the first visit. On this particular occasion it was the evening of the Perth Races, a notoriously busy evening for any establishment in Perth. To that end I was quite surprised/concerned to see but 2 servers literally running around the restaurant. The usual frozen margaritas were served (which are indeed a nice touch) and some 15 mins later (despite twice trying to call them over) our server arrived and took our order. 60 minutes later our starters were presented to us. I'll take this opportunity to let you know we were a table of 6 in a restaurant that was perhaps 50% full, so as you can imagine I was rather disappointed. The quality of the product served was good, however this would have to be expected given the timescales involved. At this point no apology was offered so I took it upon myself to ask the server, when she came over to ask if we required any more drinks, if this particular round would be complimentary to make up for the 1.5hour(+) wait (something which she acknowledged) and our drinks were served to us, with our mains some 5 mins behind them.Once the group had finished their mains I went to the bar to settle the bill. At this time I was charged the full price for all dishes plus *all* the drinks served to us. On querying this the server looked confused and discussed it with her supervisor who in turn spoke to "the boss".It was clear at this point that the round of drinks had been "lost in translation" and subsequently 3x starters were offered in place of them. It was made clear to me that this was as much as "the boss" was willing to give and it was "about the same" as the round.I could have stood, number-crunched and proved otherwise however it was clear that this was as much as they were willing to accept responsibility for. That and a voucher for a starter next time round (which I'm saddened to say there will not be)We had visitors down from Shetland whom we wished to treat to a fun, enjoyable night out in Perth. Sadly this turned in to a delayed, average meal in a hurried atmosphere where we were let down by the professionalism of several of the establishments staff. It's a shame. My first visit to this restaurant was quite positive however on this occasion they clearly failed to prepare for a busier than usual evening and let the quality of their service suffer by a fair old amount. £150 later I left with both a well spiced and bitter taste in my mouth. A shame really.Despite getting my voucher, I fear I shan't be back. I enjoy eating out, from 'Spoons to Michelin stars but regardless of where I go and what my expectations are, honesty, integrity and respect for the customer is at the core, something that I feel has fallen far, far short of the mark in this particular instance. Yours sincerely, A bitterly disappointed and embarrassed (recommending) customer.Yes it was a very busy night people called in sick a lot of customers didn’t book and people who had booked had added to their party but had not informed us You didn’t wait an hour for food The Manager gave you money of your bill and a voucher which was good of her considering you attitude on that night

Looks small outside but extends way back and is massive. Service, food, drinks all excellent. Decor is amazing too. Nothing more to say.
