Were late for dinner bu no problem, an excellent trufe pasta was prepared, thereafter a super tiramisu both together with a fine bottle of Primitivo.

Good, fresh Italian cuisine using best seasonal ingredients. Fresh seasonal white asparagus were much sweeter and tastier than those at the Hotel Steigenberger, for example. Fresh fish, simply but tastily prepared grilled with olive oil and garlic. Pasta was al dente. Very tasty spaghetti with fresh clams. Good service and reasonable wine selection . My favorite casual restaurant in Bad Homburg.

In the Kronberg old town. Sit outside on the nice terrace amongst the half timbered homes. The inside is designed more like a club than a cafe (lime green). Service is good (not great) and friendly. No English menu. Selections are varied from breakfast, salads, pasta, traditional dishes and some more international dishes (curry). I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Good. Fresh. Chicken well prepared. Would be better with Less dressing, homemade croutons and shaved Parmesan.

Nice and cosy atmosphere and foods are great. Normally, in German, restaurants serve casual dishes, but here is a bit more sophisticated. Maybe it is the reason why there is no much choice on the menu. Quality of house wine, I had Lugana, was also very nice.

Stopped by this Italian restaurant (run by authentic italians) with some friends and really liked it. Attentive staff (despite full house) Saltimbocca alla Romana, fish dishes, pasta and pizza all came well made and tasty. Sure worthwhile to spend some time there.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. After visiting the Hessenpark Open Air Museum, we were looking for a good place to eat and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant in nearby Neu-Anspach. Although they don't open until 5:30, the owner, Sylvia (who speaks perfect English) greeted us warmly and invited us inside so my grandson wouldn't be too cold waiting on the patio. Sylvia and her Moroccan husband, who is the chef, could not have been friendlier or more attentive. When they learned we were traveling with a dog, Sylvia (a holistic vet in her day job!) insisted that we bring him inside. The owners welcoming style was second only to the incredible food. Although one of the restaurant's specialties is beef, we opted for the fish. The complimentary starter set the tone for an incredible meal of salmon and sole, which was expertly filleted at the table. While this would not be considered a restaurant for someone on a tight budget, we could not have enjoyed this meal more!
