Ate on the patio with my family, the kids had pasta and pizza, my wife had the Salmon and I had the Arrabbiata. For appetizers we had caprese and the tomato with red onion salad. The mozzarella was soft and fresh in the caprese, all of the tomatoes where firm and sweet, and the red onion was so fresh it could have brought tears to your eyes. We had everything served together as we like to share it out. The salmon, pastas, and pizza were all good. We will go there again.

We arrived without a reservation for a late evening meal here and found the staff to be extremely welcoming and helpful, even though they were quite busy.The staff were attentive and allowed us to order slightly off menu exactly to our liking.Fish and meat dishes were all phenomenal and salads were fresh and vibrant.Really enjoyed the evening here.

I ate here on a business trip to Germering. It was the restaurant closest to the hotel (Hotel Mayer) and therefore very convenient.The menu for this restaurant is huge and you get a complimentary shot of Ouzo to start off with (take it or leave it). The wine was nice, and the portions huge - and the food delicious yet reasonably priced. Would definitely eat here again.

When travelling, we always use Trip Advisor recommendations to find wonderful places to dine in new cities. We chose Thalassa because it rated very well and it was a great choice. We arrived without a reservation and were promptly seated outdoors (our preference) and offered a welcome shot of ouzo. Servers were accommodating and provided us with an English menu and gave advice on the many menu choices. We were served a beautiful bread basket and a starter salad. I opted for the salmon, my husband picked the gyro bake and both were delicious. We shared the molten chocolate cake for dessert and it was a great way to finish a superb meal. Prices were very reasonable, and we were offered a complimentary shot of ouzo to finish the experience. We also enjoyed a post dinner walk in a nearby park, to burn some of calories! Thanks for a great last meal on our Munich visit!

When we visit Germering we always have dinner here and have never been disappointed. It is a fabulous family run Italian restaurant. The food is of high quality made with fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked. They always make us so welcome with friendly and excellent service. A great local Italian restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.

Diese Taverne im Sportlerheim ist seit April 2018 geöffnet und wird von einem jungen, griechischem Team geführt. Als dritte griechische Gastronomie in Gauting ist der Ansatz nicht schlecht: allerdings etwas steriles, sauberes Interieur in Grautönen, griechische Stühle in bequemer Art, keine besondere Dekoration. Der Empfang passt zur Einrichtung.Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig, dazu gibt es eine kleine Weinkarte, beide sind auf eher höhere Preise ausgelegt. Das Lokal hat nur abends geöffnet (auÃer Sonntag) und richtig losgehen tut es auch erst ab 20 h.Empfehlenswert vor allem die warme Vorspeisenplatte, die kalte ist auch nicht übel, die Hauptmahlzeiten haben ein gutes Niveau ohne wirklich herausragend zu sein. Die Nachspeisen sind sehr gut, das Personal stets sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.Wir wurden von griechischer Livemusik begleitet und im ziemlich vollen Lokal waren schätzungsweise 60% der Gäste junge Griechen. Gestört haben mich der teure Hauswein (Nemea), das billige Ãl auf dem Tisch und der kühle Empfang durch den bärtigen Besitzer. Danach taute die Mannschaft auf und es gab kostenfreie Ouzos und Nachspeisen.FAZIT: Der neue Grieche in Gauting hat den erfolgreichen 2. Platz nach dem Mythos, das eine herzlichere Ambiente hat und ein wenig bessere Küche, und vor dem Paradies (Syrtaki), das sich durch eine verbissene Geschäftsführung auszeichnet. Im Nostos (die Heimkehr) geht eine junge, dynamische Mannschaft zur Sache und das sollte man unterstützen und ihnen viel Erfolg wünschen!
