Una sorpresa total. Llegar una noche a punto de cerrar a un espacio agradable atendido por el cheff ofreciendo una carta pequeña muy agradable con entras sensacionales y platos fuertes como los rissotto incluso la receta ganadora de un premio internacional. Arroz al punto, sabores, mezcla de quesos, textura de aditivos. En fin toca volver las veces que podamos. Nos sentiamos comiendo en Barcelona. Felicitaciones

With a diverse menu, with options for vegetarians like myself, the food was excellent and fresh. Getting to speak with the owner and learning how much food is made in house made it even better. Definitely worth visiting again.

I ate jaiba dumplings/rolls in mango ceviche, Squid Salad & Orange -Cape gooseberry juice....My only complaint is with the olives in my salad: they had seeds inside...A bit dangerous!The drink without sugar was rich in vitamin C, the jaiba flesh inside the rolls was not overcooked and mild enough to enjoy!I value quality over quantity

Inside the Holiday Inn, I visited the place two times while at the hotel. From the 16th floor, the view is amazing any time in the day or, specially, at night. Sit outside, specially for dinner. Large, spacious and nicely illuminated and aired, 1622 offers an eclectic menu at friendly prices. I suggest the creamy shrimp rice - filled with lots of fresh shrimps, it is soooo rich that I had it for dinner two consecutive nights. Service, yet friendly, is inattentive and somewhat poor, in a need of substantial improvement. Desserts are disappointing, as well, thanks to the lack of "wow" options on the menu. Great place to enjoy, decoration and atmosphere were designed to experiment an Italian plaza, food was served very fast, also great touch letting people watch the chef working, is one experience that anybody with no knowledge of Italian cuisine enjoy, every plate have a special touch. I was amazed that they make their own bread and pasta, all this make a nice place to visit and revisit. I will be there next time I stop by the city. Thanks to the chef and his people make my visit unforgettable.
