We arrived late in Rausu after travelling around all day and we're looking for a restaurant that was still open for business. We had a few negatives, but then saw this place.It was great, the host welcomed us in - he even speaks some English, much much better than our Japanese - then gave us a very good meal. Even altering his recipes to cater for gluten intolerance for one of our family members.We very much enjoyed this restaurant and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Great little Japanese store for hand-made soba noodles. Great if you're driving through and you're looking for lunch. Very cozy, but best if you know Japanese to read the menu.

Found this place on trip advisor but had difficulty finding it . The local butcher actually left his shop and took us to the door which is so typical of the experience and welcome we have received since being here in Japan . I was looking for sushi and this was outstanding

We went there because of the comments on this website, and they were right, the fish is REALLY good. We took the sashimi set, and had a lot of different fishes, very good and very fresh. Anyone who likes fresh fish can go in this small and nice restaurant.The woman which serves speaks english perfectly and is very nice.

Lovely establishment to visit. Generous portions , beautifully served and presented with pride.We only had 45 min's to our disposal and after we made it clear that we were in rather a lather , they served us with speed and efficiency. Good , tasty wholesome meal. Will visit again
