I was there many times. I keep coming back to the restaurant because it was so nice to me with really fresh, delicious food and affordable price. Normally, having meal at a Japanese is expensive. But having meal in Hanako was the whole different experience. Sashimi was really fresh. Everytime I was there, the restaurant staff offerred me to taste new dishes which were really amazing combination between European and Asian. The hotpot was no sweet and stunning. It balanced between fresh seafood, vegetables and Japanese soup. The meal was not heavy , it was enough to feel a happy stomach

Very expensive for no reason , the portion are very small the quality average , when we arrive they offer menu for 2 including free beer when we check the bill they charge the beer , when we ask why they say free is only draft beer ,they never say that before , they just try to cheat the tourist

It was a really good idea to get in to this restaurant. The staff is friendly, english speaking, moreover the sushi chef speaks german as well. The food was delicious and fresh. I can recommend this place to everyone, who visits Haiphong.

We had a wonderful dinner here a few weeks ago. The food was wonderful and very authentic. The service was impeccable. We could not have asked for a nicer evening or better food. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were fair, but this is not a place for cheap eats.

We went to Akataiyo restaurant on Sunday evening getting dinner also it is certainly the absolute best sushi restaurant in this specific place. Every dish is fresh, delicious, and beautiful presented. The menu is plentiful and seems intriguing, impressive with several certain signature dishes. Not merely traditional Japanese dishes, you are going to find several outstanding fusion food that impresses me a great deal. We enjoyed a great deal the salad (especially sear tuna salad) and sashimi here. Very big number of all sushi type and specifically the different types os seaweed was rather good. Come to Akataiyo, you are going to enjoy fatty cheese cream. Let us go. Now!

Good , honest Japanese food, staff very helpful and service minded, only minus is that rooms upstairs can be quite hot for temperature...( A/C not so much helpfull)I do not recommend the BBQ....rest is all fine and prepared with care.
