What a mixture, interesting decor, helpful staff, excellent food and a good selection of craft beers. Some of the Vietnamese dishes have truly deep, big and powerful flavours ... quite knocked me out .... a true gastronomic experience. Not for those puritans who like their food bland or lust for a burger or pizza. If you like Vietnamese visit and experience.

You easily walk past the unnoticeable doors of this restaurant with a tasteful Hong Kong kitchen.However, the number of customers during dinertime reveal the food is good in this place.Choose from an extensive menu with English translation. For some extra help choose from a selection of photographed dishes.Meat and fish dishes, soups, (fried) rice, noodles and plenty choice of vegetarian plates. All for reasonable prices.George, the owner, claims to buy the ingredients himself in Hongkong to ensure the best quality.This is one (maybe the only) restaurant in Haiphong you can get some food still after 10 pm.I have eaten here several times now and it is definitely one of my favourites in town.

The restaurant is located on main road and a mix of bar and restaurant. Set meal is rice paper with different kinds of meat/vegetables. Despite a smell of smoking, taste is good and it worths a try.

Flat rice noodle with sea crab meat, a Hai Phong specialty is the main dish of this small restaurant. If you go to Hai Phong of course trying local specialties is highly recommended and this noodle shop is one of the place to be. The shop doesn't have it own style but the food is good in general. You may like it or not, but it has a taste of local. However, there is limited parking space especially for car and van.

Good , honest Japanese food, staff very helpful and service minded, only minus is that rooms upstairs can be quite hot for temperature...( A/C not so much helpfull)I do not recommend the BBQ....rest is all fine and prepared with care.

If you are looking for an interesting buffet cuisine delight, you can not go past Bulgogi for one very enjoyable night out.The staff are very friendly and helpful as they cook for you at your table the delicacies you have chosen from the buffet.The choice is yours as is their pleasure to serve you.Bon Appetite.

The house looks simple but nice. Atmosphere here is lovely with live guitar and violon at evening. Price is accepted (but I think it should be cheaper a little bit). Food is good but they dont have pad Thai. I love the papaya salad and tom yum here. They bring along some Thai spices that Vietnam dont have so the taste is really Thai :)Conclusion: try it!

We visited Indian Kitchen in Hai Phong after reading some solid reviews online and we were not disappointed. This restaurant is located in the colonial quarter of Hai Phong and attracts both locals and expats in equal measure. I was a bit unsure what Indian food in Vietnam would be like but this is on par with the best Indian food worldwide. We ordered the veggie samosas, aloo chat, lentil curry and garlic paratha. Though the setting was very nice and intimate. The staff were good to deal with and the food came out quickly and hot with enough spice. All the food is reasonably priced too. This place was one of the highlights of our Hai Phong Trip.

I tried the sushi here I don't think it's great. Quiet restaurant, the staff very friendly. I satisfied with the dish and I will return if possible !!!
