Simply Asparagus, mushroom, ginko nut, lotus root, chicken sticks and beer. Its good for foreigners and Turkish men. Its hard to find the address but you should ask someone.

My husband and I visited Enoshima and just happened to find this little restaurant. It is very clean and has multiple seating areas (porch, rooftop, indoor levels with large windows) that offer great views of the sea. The service and staff was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful and she even spoke some conversational English. We do not speak Japanese and we were delighted to find that they have an English menu. They have a large selection of meals, side dishes, and drinks. My husband chose the chopped toro donburi lunch set and I chose the maguro sashimi donburi lunch set. It was absolutely the best sushi my husband and I have had in our lives. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pickles were yummy and the miso soup was perfect. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to people who visit the area. We had a wonderful experience at Uohana and we look forward to going back in the future.

Sit on the bar and watch local chef preparing the dish. Layer of slim pancake, nodles, cabage, egg and a choice of the additional meat you like: pork, shrimp&octopuse, fish. Great local place, full most of the time.

We liked the look of this place from the outside so read a few reviews and decided to try it! Curry always sounds good.We were served by the owner who was also head cook and I suspect chief bottle-washer. Lovely lady who was so interested in us and our travels especially that we were going to Ghibli Studios - she showed as a photo of herself, her daughter and Hayao Miyazaki (I think) at the studio several years ago.The menu is just as shown in the attached pictures - curry beef with hashed rice, a side salad with egg and coffee. Plus several different types of local plum(?) wine to sample are placed in front of you - see picture.The meal although simple was tasty and very satisfying.

My friend and I arrived here at approximately 1.40 pm on a weekday and the restaurant had 2 other customers. The waitress initially had a look of surprise when she saw us (and I think they were starting to clean up) but we were welcomed to sit at the bar and given a menu. I ordered the seabream sashimi on rice with a pot of kombu clear soup to pour over. The meal was absolutely delicious. It was clean, tasty and filling enough for lunch. To recognise the shopfront, look for the menu in the pictures attached by other customers. If you are taking the bus from Fukuyama, continue walking north from the bus stop heading for the port. The restaurant is about a 5-7 min walk from the bus stop on the other side of the road.

Recommended and frequented by local people, no foreigners usually present. Very very typical Japanese food and Japanese way of eating, all together next to each other, along a single U-shaped counter. Nice friendly staff and nice friendly customers. They will be happy to have some foreigner eating next to them. Recommended chicken and vegetable rolls.
