We arrived for a late Sunday lunch absolutely starving.We decided to take advantage of the good weather and had a table in the open courtyard. The staff were friendly and efficient in bringing us our drinks.Then we ordered the Focaccia Al Fresco as a shared starter. The properly cooked base was loaded with cheese, herbs, garlic and chilli and was simply out of this world!Usually we have different main courses so we can sample each other's food; this time, however, we both had a craving for Lasagne. Wowee! The Lasagne was outstanding and filled that gap in our tums.The outdoor ambience is super, with plenty of space for youngsters all in a pleasant rural environment. There is secure parking. And the service was top-class; we felt like royalty!

Visited them , we were seven seated. We ordered three pizzas , 01 burger and 03 steaks from the menus .The three pizzas arrived at the same time , nearly 05 minutes later the steaks and about 05 minutes later the one burger . Everyone was happy with their food . When one goes out for supper the aim is to enjoy all the food at the same time and together.The planning should have been better to ensure all get their food at the same time. I was much disappointed in my pizza , , their was not much crumbed fetta , I ordered extra mushrooms but could hardly find them . With pricing at this establishment being what they are there should be no need to be skimpy.Don't think I will visit them again if the choice depends on me

The Col Cacchio at Silverstar Casino is situated in the food court area .We were a family group of 9 and upon entering we were welcomed in by manager Marc who took us to our seating . The waiter was very friendly and brought all our orders timeously he was efficient and very knowledgeable about the menu and pasta toppings The friendly warm restaurant offers mainly Pizza and Pasta, Our entire family enjoyed all that was ordered to me my pasta linguine with black mushrooms was divine. .One can order Gluten free bases and pasta if you are wheat intolerant . Nice dining ambience in a relaxed environment We really enjoyed the Sunday outing and I will most certainly recommend this to my friends .

Go their every week Previous Manager always friendly greets all pop around to find out if all well. Well no more Grumpy unfriendly Valarie-Ann Pretorius bad for Restaurant. Group od friends were there for Valentine we were rudely dismissed. Same last night no greeting nothing. She should work in closed office no people contact. Col'Cacchio is situated on the piazza area, a nice change from the restaurants in the casino area.The menu offers a vast variety of options, including some carb-conscious meals, including cauliflower-based pizzaI had a chicken dish (on zucchini) and it was a delicious meal. The portion is fairly small for the price, so take that into consideration if you arrive hungry.Service is quick, efficient and friendly.Overall a great option at Silverstar

OMG. When you come to have a meal please make sure you are not hungry. You wait so long for your order you can place your order, go into the mail and shop or go see a movie. And you will still be in time to eat your meal. Management has to catch a wake up. Today was my third visit to Casalinga in 20 years. They are nothing if not consistent - every meal reminded me of school canteen food. The starter, fish soup, did not taste fresh. The fish was overcooked and dry. The main course, fillet steak ordered medium rare, was ice cold in the centre and dry and tough on the outside. I did not even taste the dessert - supposedly a pavlova. In my book pavlova consists of crisp meringue with a chewy centre, topped with cream and (preferably) fresh fruit. I was presented with weeping beaten egg white (proof it wasnât remotely fresh), topped with something that may have been artificial cream (it looked too white to be real, but who knows?) and a mixture of wilted and cooked fruit. It was difficult to thank our host with a straight face. And the service? Inconsistent, but generally too many people interrupting too often. There are better places for a Sunday lunch.
