We arrived for a late Sunday lunch absolutely starving.We decided to take advantage of the good weather and had a table in the open courtyard. The staff were friendly and efficient in bringing us our drinks.Then we ordered the Focaccia Al Fresco as a shared starter. The properly cooked base was loaded with cheese, herbs, garlic and chilli and was simply out of this world!Usually we have different main courses so we can sample each other's food; this time, however, we both had a craving for Lasagne. Wowee! The Lasagne was outstanding and filled that gap in our tums.The outdoor ambience is super, with plenty of space for youngsters all in a pleasant rural environment. There is secure parking. And the service was top-class; we felt like royalty!

Our food took forever to come, when it eventually came the prawns was over cooked and the chicken under cooked. The Manager is not much of help, we were told that he will go and check on the food and it took another 20min and he never came back and asked if everything is oky. When the food came I asked for the bill and the bill only came when everyone was done eating, I had to stand up and go to someone so that we could pay. Really disappointed. Visited them , we were seven seated. We ordered three pizzas , 01 burger and 03 steaks from the menus .The three pizzas arrived at the same time , nearly 05 minutes later the steaks and about 05 minutes later the one burger . Everyone was happy with their food . When one goes out for supper the aim is to enjoy all the food at the same time and together.The planning should have been better to ensure all get their food at the same time. I was much disappointed in my pizza , , their was not much crumbed fetta , I ordered extra mushrooms but could hardly find them . With pricing at this establishment being what they are there should be no need to be skimpy.Don't think I will visit them again if the choice depends on me

Came for a lunch birthday party and was not impress with the bad service. I've never waited this long for a meal. Food was good but unfortunately the bad service will make me think before coming back. It's a beautiful garden restaurant. I'm sure Management can have a look at the staff training. We didn't see much of our waiter.

Go their every week Previous Manager always friendly greets all pop around to find out if all well. Well no more Grumpy unfriendly Valarie-Ann Pretorius bad for Restaurant. Group od friends were there for Valentine we were rudely dismissed. Same last night no greeting nothing. She should work in closed office no people contact. Waiters are even apologising for her bad behaviour

This cafe is on the Avianto property and offers an a la carte menu with buffets over the weekend.Food is reasonably priced and tasty.We lunched here after the day-hike on the property and, being a Sunday, the a la carte options were limited to salads, sandwiches and burgers, I had a chicken salad - delicious and packed with tender chickenIt's best to make a reservation over weekends as the place was bustling when we left with only a couple of table available for people that popped in without a reservation. Tables are either outside under trees or inside with little nooks and crannies that adds to the ambienceService is friendly and efficient. The whole table asked for water and the waitress brought a jug of water and replenished it without us having to askA very good option if you're in the area!

We've had family and busjness meetings at this establishment on many occassions. We frequent this (Silvestar), Goldreef and of course the original branch. Calisto's Muldersdrift has a great vibe, great food and great staff. We will be back. 7.8 out of 10 fo this establishment.

We came through for the picnic on Saturday and I just wanted to thank you and your staff for making it such a wonderful and memorable experience! The menu was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed everything! A few of the standout items were the breads (so wonderfully fresh), the pate, tapenade and dressing were very tasty, the brownies were a wonderful treat and of course the prawns were delicious and left us wanting more! The picnic basket itself was neatly packed and a real treat to be surprised when opening each container to see what was inside â loved that!The area and setup was very relaxing and the sound of the water streaming by made it very peaceful. We both appreciated that the area was private and quiet, it made it that much more special.Michael was our waiter and was very friendly and went the extra mile with bringing us extra ice for our champagne â real 5 star servicing, as we have come to get used to at Forum Homini.It was a great experience - highly recommend!
