Booked this venue to celebrate two birthdays. Even though it was very full, there is more than enough space, so it doesn't feel cramped. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy, also some farm animals to feed.
Food was not bad. All in all our afternoon was very enjoyable.

For a Sunday lunch treat we celebrated my husbands birthday at Bellgables. We haven't been to this restaurant in years and we're reminded of why we liked it all those years ago...the decor is over the top, lavish and thoroughly entertaining, the food was very good, service friendly and efficient.
The little bit extra paid was well worth it. A fun day out!

Passing through Krugersdorp and Lunchtime - The Westwood is a typical small shopping mall Bar and restaurant that is not pretending to be anything other than a neighborhood venue. I was greeted and shown a table table quickly. Menu arrive, ordered a beer which arrived just as quickly - ice cold.
Medium Rare Sirloin, Egg and chips ordered and it was very good. Recommend for good value straightforward fare.

I had a pork belly starter late afternoon.Approx 2 hours later I felt ill and started vomiting etc.I was admitted to hospital an hour later with severe food poisoning.I HAD NOT EATEN BREAKFAST OR LUNCH THE SAME DAY AND MY PREVIOUS MEAL WAS THE DAY BEFORE AS A LATE LUNCH.Its therefore quite obvious that the food of this establishment caused my illness.STAY AWAY DONT TAKE THE CHANCE OF ENDING UP IN HOSPITAL.
[ALSO HAD TO KEEP CALLING STAFF TO TAKE DRINKS ORDERS....NO SERVICE AT ALL]I have visited 93 countries and this is the WORST.

Not bad place. Spent 2 nights. Breakfast OK. Beautiful setting. Enjoyed the hiking trail. However needs to be a difference in service when you pay a higher price. everyone cant be entitled to use the same facilities.

I booked for a group for my mom's 60th birthday. The day at Toadbury Hall was exactly what I wished for. The tables were set in a beautiful relaxed setting under the trees in the lovely garden. The food was great and the staff were fantastic and very attentive, they couldn't have been more willing to make our day special and ensured everything ran according to plan.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, plenty of it and reasonably priced- what more could you want?
The setting and atmosphere there was just so relaxed and peaceful, we never felt rushed like you do in other restaurants- so much so that all our guests stayed and chatted and lunch turned into sundowners.
A lovely day in beautiful surroundings, I would not hesitate to recommend Toadbury Hall for any function and I can only imagine that a wedding here would be amazing!

The restaurant is not far from home and we end up making use of the opportunity almost weekly , and every time we walk away most satisfied with the service quality of food and the sense of personal belonging. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not the typical commercial restaurants and the food matches that. It is well presented tasty and offer excellent value for money. Every supper is a pleasant experience!
