The award-winning, internationally renowned Carnivore restaurant needs little introduction! Situated in the grounds of the Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa, The Carnivore celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and continues to provide
We had Heard a lot about carnivore and the ability to try many game meats at one time such as kudo and antelope. We love Brazilian steakhouses so weâre âgameâ to try Carnivore. We were two people so we were ignored because if the larger parties. All the meats were passed once in very quick succession and then they stopped bringing them to our section of the restaurant. The carrot soup was fabulous. The chocolate mousse was good too. My daughter loved the impala, kudo sausage and venison samosa best. I liked the pork ribs. I am not an adventurous eater but I did not like the beef or chicken because they were very dry. The wirelist says champagne is available by the glass but I was told I could not have one because they had to open a whole bottle. The Pinot Noir they served me tasted spoiled but they did not return it. My daughter enjoyed this overpriced experience. We were at the Lions and Rhino reserve when we decided to eat over Kenjara Lodge. Was an inspired decision for the authentic and very cosy atmosphere and for the natural view we had while having our lunch. the food was good and generous , so were the drinks and I also tried ostrich, which has an interesting taste. I would recommend this place as it is different and you fell the specific atmosphere.

This cafe is on the Avianto property and offers an a la carte menu with buffets over the weekend.Food is reasonably priced and tasty. We lunched here after the day-hike on the property and, being a Sunday, the a la carte options were limited to salads, sandwiches and burgers, I had a chicken salad - delicious and packed with tender chickenIt's best to make a reservation over weekends as the place was bustling when we left with only a couple of table available for people that popped in without a reservation. Tables are either outside under trees or inside with little nooks and crannies that adds to the ambienceService is friendly and efficient. The whole table asked for water and the waitress brought a jug of water and replenished it without us having to askA very good option if you're in the area!

Wildwood Brasserie is a tranquil country venue located on the banks of the Crocodile River with pristine views, ideal for picnics, weddings and outdoor events. Our relaxing atmosphere is a must with great tasty food ice cold craft beer and chilled wines.
This place is horrible. Went there for a business meeting and was shocked at the state of the place. It's cracking everywhere and looks like maintenance hadn't been done in centuries. The female toilets are a health hazard, thinking of calling the health inspector for that. There is fungi growing there. The place doesn't cater for people with specific dietary requirements and service is poor. There is even a scrap yard on the premises. A no no for me!
