There are cheaper and more expensive pizza types you can order, the person I was eating with got the more expensive pizza and I ordered the less expensive with vegan cheese instead of regular cheese since I am allergic to dairy. I told the waitress that I was allergic when I ordered. After taking a few bites of the pizza I could tell that the chef had scraped the dairy cheese off of a pre made pizza base and just put vegan cheese on top of it. The person I ate with had got a pizza with a different base, it looked fresher and not from frozen. Overall the place was nice, but since I had ordered with my allergies in mind I expected a completely non dairy meal especially since vegan cheese was an option. Later on I was ill, so I don't think I'll be going back soon.

On a 12 day tour of Ireland this was one of our most enjoyable meals. The spaghetti is home made and the Rotolo di pollo was moist and well textured. Over all the food, drinks, coffee and service were high standard. One of those restaurants you would go back to just to try the other items on the menu.

This restaurant is located inside the cork airport hotel, just next to the airport. If the Italian name suggests pizza to be a good choice, don't follow your instinct: it's awful.Furthermore, we waited 45' to be served (actually, to be asked for an order) as the kitchen was "very busy". Now, how can this be possible? They should know how many people are staying in the hotel and should be able to guess how many clients they will have. Obviously there is a certain degree of uncertainty and the very unlucky event of late flights postponed till the day after, but that was not the case.What I have to say is that the staff was remarkable in serving, running among the tables and always smiling.Hi Silvia, We're sorry to hear that this was your experience. A hidden gem in Cork county. My only grievance is that more locals around the county don't know about this restaurant!!! As a local and regular of this restaurant, I cannot recommend higher. Food is very reasonably priced and it is authentic Italian cuisine. The pizzas are absolutely delicious and the owners are super welcoming. 5 stars EVERY time. Perfect for families, couples or meals with friends. P.S the desserts are to die for!!!Grazie Mille Cimi05! I'm giving this a poor review , mainly because the server who was mixing the dough and doing the till at the same time with no gloves on.handling change & mixing dough at once is unhygienic in my opinion. It kinda put me off the pizza

We had dinner there last night and what I can say?! Well...the quality of the food is ok, we had a starter and I must be honest: all products were from Italy for sure. We also had pizza margherita and tiramisu...here we got upset. First of all: no one italian use balsamic vinegar and rocket as toppings!!! Please!!! Tiramisu was weird, I dunno if it was the cream or the way how it was made. Italian restaurant with Irish revisiting!

Found this with my boys last year and had a little issue when I first arrived with the waiter! Once explained he was very courteous and took my issue seriously and following that we had fabulous Pizzas and deserts! Came back last Monday and he remembered me the min we walked in the door! I would love to know his name because he went way over trying to not replicate our first visit! Fabulous chap , place and food ! Pizzas home made and delicious !
