Amecameca (formally Amecameca de Juárez) is a town and municipality located in the eastern panhandle of Mexico State between Mexico City and the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanos of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is located on federal highway 115 which leads to Cuautla, which is called the Volcano Route (Ruta de los Volcanes). This area is popular with weekend visitors from Mexico City, Puebla and Morelos to enjoy the scenery of the mountains, eat local foods, visit the Sanctuary of the Señor del Sacromonte, the Panoaya Hacienda and other attractions. However, when Popocatépetl is active, tourism here drops dramatically. The area receives a large number of visitors during the annual Carnival/Festival del Señor del Sacromonte, which extends over the week containing Ash Wednesday and is considered to be one of the most important festivals in Mexico State.

Quattro is a very good classic Italian restaurant. The quality of the food is very good, the device is very professional and attentive.They have a good wine list although sometime on the higher price to value ratio. They have the best grappa list in México City.Good location within Santa Fe. The decor is a bit dated and some additional lighting at night would do them good.Good place for a good classic upscale Italian dinner.Thank you very much for your visit and comments. it will be a pleasure to serve you again. Dalis Pizza is by far the best in Mexico City- Owned and operated by an Italian pizza maker. The crust was perfect and all ingredients fresh. The pizza with basil was freshly picked from his basil plant. Individual size pizzas are perfect for 1 person or 2 people for a light snack. At 60 pesos each, they can't be beat.

While the sandwich was named the New Yorker, I have never had something like this in New York. Marinated and roasted pork belly, egg over medium, a bit of mayonnaise and fresh bread makes for an amazing sandwich. When next in Mexico City I will return. Thanks

Staff was extremely helpful. The bread is great. I had a tomato salad (caprese) which is made with some unique tomatoes. I added a bit of olive oil and vinegar. Quite tasty. The lasagna bolognesa was average for a restaurant of this stature.
