mostly locals s not on the main drag. cab drives know it and affordable with specials, nice brown water boiling hot n belowoutdoor pool was closed , had 2 in door pools with water piping in .excellent for resting n soaking

Cosy place by the coast, near the port of Yoichi. Friendly chef and attentive staff. Kemukaro serves beautifully prepared smoked dishes. Pumpkin quiche comes with a delightful smoked tofu salad. The smoked chicken sits in a 'moat' of fresh orange sauce. Couldn't taste the smoked in the smoked coffee though.

Visited the winery last month, excellent food and really really good wine at Avery resanoble price...staff and management friendly and very accommodating, had atour of the wine cellar and wine production line, very interesting ...will visit again..

A leisurely lunch on a fine weekday in spring in this picturesque one star restaurant in the Niki area before visit the Nikka Yoichi Distillery was memorable. We had 6 glasses of house production (some better than others) plus a three-course meal with a window-side table overlooking the Occi Gabi vineyard. The bill came at a real shock - two delicious main courses of slow cooked beef and chicken, a sharing assorted appetiser plate which just left enough room for their generous portions of dessert - all under US$100! Attentive service but watch out for the absence of English menu - be prepared to guess your orders to some extent. Spare some time to visit the annexe shop which offers free tasting and a short stroll of the garden, offering photo opportunity.
