Having not been in Windhoek for a few years decided to go to an old haunt for Sunday breakfast. Very pleasant surroundings and fairly busy but not frenetic. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and a cuppa chino - coffee was ok, breakfast was ok service was really so so slow!!! Even getting the check to time. You need to jack the service up - dont regress and get back to the standard you had a few years back!!

New restaurant with an international chef at a very new 5 star hotel. Meals are tapas-like sizes, but not too expensive for that. The food is above standard, however, the service is far below any acceptable standards. Our waitress came to take orders and deliver orders and not a single time in-between, e.g. to ask for more drinks, a dessert etc. And the "bang" at the "end": they simply switch off the lights of restaurant at 22 hrs. No further info, people were still sitting and having dessert/drinks and they simply left us in the dark. According to the waitress, the lights go off and on automatically. An unacceptable behaviour for such a restaurant in a 5 star environment!

They have very nice concept having "normal menu" and the really this meat lovers portition. Meat was mostly good (except beef :( ) and service excellent. You get easliy good variation of game meats at once.

Eight years ago I had a great experience here. This time I took the family! The setting is magnificent. The service was professional. The live jazz and sunset was the stuff dreams are made of. The food was disappointing. Stale rye bread in a German establishment. Really! Surf and Turf at N$410 with a tough piece of rib eye, overcooked and killed of by a pepper sauce that was totally overpowering. I love pepper, but this was unforgivable. The crayfish tail sliced in two portions were unremarkable. If Iâm not mistaken the menu said there would be two. Sorry, but do not expect me in 2027.

Back for my quarterly fix of apple crumble. This truly must be the best in Windhoek. Let me rather say best in Namibia. Served with a dollop of ice cream or fresh cream. The filling is overtly generous loaded with lots of fresh apple, raisins just the right amount of crumble crust. The crust is done old school like grandma would do it.

I had dinner here with my husband and we were treated with 5 star food and 5 star service! Recommend this for a date as well as for dinner and drinks with friends!Hello! Even though we no longer serve dinners, we are now open again for lunches, served daily between 12 and 3 pm weekdays. This was a restaurant that brought everything together. Serene ambience especially if you sat outside among the trees and the starlit sky; truly innovative food which was superb, and attentive and friendly service. Compliments to Gavy our server who was friendly, efficient and helped to make it a very enjoyable evening. If you have only one night in Windhoek - this is the place to have dinner. Do not miss it.

Stellenbosch restaurant is a sure place to go and have good meals. The ambience under the verandahs and inside seating is pleasant and one just want to enjoy everything with birds frequenting the trees and to pick up crumbs and morsels from the paving. BUT if a group of 6+ young people arrive just to have drinks for two hours and are excessively loud, it spoils everything.
