De brasserie is gelegen aan een prachtige golfbaan aan de rand van Vlaardingen! Wat een verrassing. Een ruim en gezellige brasserie met groot terras met prachtig uitzicht over de golfbaan. De sfeer is gemoedelijk en de bediening is zeer gastvrij. Bekwaam personeel en zeer snelle service, De 1200 leden van de golfclub maken goed gebruik van de brasserie. Ook passanten zijn van harte welkom! De koffie met het plaatselijke drankje Schelvispekel en een brownie is een daverend succes. De zelfgemaakte erwtensoep met spek is goed gemaakt en mooi opgediend. Plek om regelmatig te vertoeven.

De keuze is reuze! Heerlijk ontbijt gehad hier. Helaas niet alles kunnen proeven. Zeer compleet voor een redelijke prijs. Vriendelijk personeel. Alles schoon en netjes.

Imagine, a simple restaurant, attached to a fish shop in a heritage warehouse on the Vlaardingen waterfront, with outside tables, where you can sit looking at the activity in the cosy "Koningin Wilhelmina harbour", between trucks, ships etc. Furthermore, imagine a menu with starters and main course, based on fresh fish (smoked, fried, grilled etc.) and imagine a friendly waitress who has genuine dedication to the job. Customers, who come for a beer, a coffee or a complete meal are all treated with the same hospitality. And, after putting away the best fish meal you ever had, imagine that the bill is unbelievably modest. This fairy tale exists in the bleak Dutch restaurant landscape. It is called "Visbakkerij De Vleet". Oh, I almost forgot, if you don't like fish, they do also steaks.

Just opened and by far one of the best in Vlaardingen and area. If you like a great big piece of meat this is the place to go. You can order from the card but I really recommend to order a âget a bit of everythingâ menu where they give you a bit of everything. This is especially good for when you are in a big group. Would come again.
