I went here with work colleagues who all went for the reasonably priced menu of the day. Being a vegetarian this was not for me of course as it invloved vast quantities of meat, so I went for the falafel. The falafel were not the round balls I am used to, but hamburger-shaped discs. The flavour was reasonable but they were very solid and I'm pretty sure they were straight from a packet and simply tossed in the deep fat fryer. Alongside were a pita bread, chips and a salad. I ordered the regular size which was plenty. â¬4 more for the large would have been too much for me. All-in-all I paid â¬18 for the food and two drinks. Would I go back? No.

Visited the Restaurant as two couples to celebrate a birthday with guests from abroad. who happened to be on his birthday, we wanted something a bit classy and special. We were not disappointed, we got first class service as we informed the Restaurant before hand that it was for a birthday. Depending of what you ordered, it was tasty given we all had some sort of seafood., everything was cooked to perfection. They all have a good selection of wine and we chose South Africa and Argentinian, full bodied. The dessert also was delicious.La Roche is not far from town and one would not have to worry about pay parking as it has plenty both front and back of the Restaurant.. It is a very cosy restaurant and can find sitting to your liking.

Close to the station, we selected this for lunch on arrival (as we could not yet check into hotel). The menu has some interesting choices instead of the staple lunch fare, such as flammkuchen, artisan bread with dips, good salads. Friendly staff, service very slow though.

We went with family for a nice diner and wanted to try this place. There is a nice wine-bar where you can start and after you can go to the restaurant. The staf is friendly and relaxed. We chose a 5 dishes menu including wine. The start was good but later we got pork-belly. Sorry but itâs just fat. I know fat gives a nice taste but only fat... hardly meet. Sorry not good for my cholesterol. The main-course tasted good. The wines with the menu could be a bit more exciting and power-full. Nice Italian, Spanish, South-Africa or Austria etc.

Really great beer/pub on the Old Market. Many different kinds of beer on tap and in bottles. By far the largest selection I've seen in Enschede. Also, many types of whiskey available as well. Very reasonably priced. Limited, but well-priced food menu. Pool and board games available. Highly recommended.

Visited here with the Groupon surprise menu deal. The waitstaff was very energetic though the restaurant quite empty. All together a good deal though we would have liked to see something other than chicken satay as the main course (we would never order that from a restaurant except as "street food.") The dessert was very tasty and the price good. Four courses were:Iberico ham, pear, mustard sauce, seaweed (odd combination, but okay)Vegetable broth soup Chicken satay w/friesChocolate mousse w/brownies (fudge) and ice cream

Nice restaurant, Good service.Some misunderstating due to language. We had a Flammk Geitkaase, serverd with honey instead of balsamico, but good anyway, then Deelplank very good.Zeebars and Snitzel (enormous :) also 100%Unforunately was the onion soup watery and a short burned aroma which makes the rewiev very good, not excellent.Thank you Guido, for your friendliness and good service

It seems they managed to get the place fixed up. Last time I was here, they seemed to have some major plumbing issue and a very BAD smell in the restaurant! Well, that's fixed now and all is great! Very nice place to go. Great food and service is always super!

Altough it seems a bit dirty, the place is beautiful. It is very well-designed and organized. Food was nice for me. I ordered the hamburger and the brownie, both totally recommendable. The curry one had no salt at all, although that is normal here in the Netherlands. Also I was expecting home-made natural juices which would fit perfect with the place, but mine was all but natural. Service was fine, but maybe the place its to big for 2 or 3 waiters. In overall, a very nice restaurant.
