The municipality of Enschede consisted of the city of Enschede until 1935, when the rural municipality of Lonneker, which surrounded the city, was annexed after the rapid industrial expansion of Enschede which began in the 1860s and involved the building of railways and the digging of the Twentekanaal.

El Gaucho offers excellent food for reasonable prices. The ambience is a bit sterile. This is compensated by a very hospitable and friendly staff. The steaks are well prepared with nice fresh fries.

This place has excellent food, you can't go wrong with the mixed grill dishes. I really loved their rice and the food came in large but not huge portions. Really well prepare meal. Seats are comfy, the decorations are not exactly my taste but the restaurant is cozy and the staff is very friendly and warm. One red wine ordered was forgotten but small human error that no one bothered with as the rest of the experience was really good. I find this place good value for money!

We have been here several times, and every time we go, it is always a winner!I had the Ribeye and also Mushrooms with bacon in a cream sauce. All was Great! They are located just off the Old Square in the town center (across from Extra Blaad).I recommend making a reservation!

I've been to the foodhal multiple times and every time I will end up ordering multiple items of the Tinkus menu. Also visited them at the Proefeet festival and had their perfectly made Inca burger. Tinkus never seems to disappoint, so I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
