I was stuck in jam and saw this place .. just to drop and try out..Surprisingly is very good.. not only just goodI ask for some food which is not at menu but they custom made for me as I requested.The person who serve me is manager I think(since the uniform slight different front the rest of waiter) very good. If not mistaken his name is anil ( sorry for wrong spelling).Of coz not only the manager.. all the staff is great. As I'm alone.. I would like to go toilet.. 1 of the staff help me to take care my belonging.. although is busy.. he standing beside my bag just to ensure no 1 touch it..I will definitely come back..Thanks to you all.. such a good service just like 5 star hotel..Keep going guys

We really had great moment dining in this restaurant. Cosy environment with good food served. The best is their friendly staff. Among them is Feroz who really took all the trouble accomodating us and assist my love ones' birthday event. Thanks Feroz and all the staff. Will definitely come back.

Overall, the restaurant is very good. Attentive service, tasty food, cozy atmosphere. I ordered Pier 12 Garlic prawns and seafood marinara. Both dishes were recommended by a waiter. Garlic prawns are indeed excellent. Marinara was missing something. Pasta portion is big! I liked how Chilli crab for 20RM looked like but could not eat more. Desserts also looked very attractive on the menu. Both white wines that offered by glasses should be changed. They are simply not good. It seems that the wines have been chosen by a person, who does not actually drink wine. And the waiter should first ask, if a customer wants ice in the wine. I was surprised to see plastic flowers on the tables. It is Malaysia after all!.. Is not it expensive to get fresh flowers twice a week? The shells in the restaurant look empty. The inner design may be further improved.

With all kinds of fusion food places popping up, it's increasingly rare to find one that actually does it well. I walked into Manja hopeful (and a little sceptical), and am pleased to say that it did not disappoint. The service was outstanding, with Eshwari (the restaurant manager) being a great host who was articulate in her explanation of each dish's flavours and ingredients. The Borneo Coconut Tuna and Paneer and Mango Salad were excellent examples of Malaysian fusion flavours. Extra points for the creative use of local 'Ulam Raja' as salad leaves! The only drawback (hence the 4-star rating) was that the price tag ended up being a little steep. The bill came up to over RM350 for 2 pax (3 small sharing plates, 1 medium sharing plate, 1 drink) and the portions were rather small.Aside from that, well done to the team at Manja for showcasing Malaysian flavours so well!Dear WhenVTravels, We are very happy that you enjoyed your Manja experience. This place is an excellent experience for anyone but even more to all the so-called "foodies" because there you really put on test your ability to recognize flavors, textures and ingredients.On top of that, the menu includes high-end and local flavors so even if it wasn't in the dark, it will still be an amazing experience.Some people think that because it is dark they will bump or get hit in the head by something but it is completely safe and the waiters are very helpful and friendly so there are zero risks of any kind.Pro tip: If you believe you are a true Ninja then try to steal a piece of your friends' food without being detected (I did!).Hi Manyfatboy, thank you for the lovely review and super pro tip!
