Tokyo Restaurant was highly recommended to me as my friends know I love cheese cake.It is truly the best cheesecake I have ever eaten. Served with whipped cream, the tasge was heavenly. I could feel the cake melt in my mouth. Even though it was pricey at Rm 20 a piece,I felt that it was worth it. It is a class above all the cheesecakes I have eaten.Will definitely be back again !Dear Jeffrey, Greetings from The Tokyo Restaurant !!! Came here for late Sunday lunch. There was a line but moved pretty quickly. We each had the Akamaru special ramen and also order some gyoza. The ramen was delish as always - slices of pork so tender and soup had a nice zing to it. The gyoza took a while to come but eventually arrived. It is rather expensive though - especially for Malaysia. I might try again for lunch during the week bc it looks like they have some pretty good set menu deals.Hello Sally,Thank you for taking the time to rate and review us. This is a great restaurant but very expensive not only for KUL standard, but evening compare to similar restaurant in HK. We went there on Saturday for lunch, and we had two problems - 1. When we called to book for a table at 1315, we were told the last order was at 1330, but when we arrived at the restaurants clearly stated the last order was at 1400, which a few more customers did just that! 2. We we order a la carte sushi and a grill fish dish, we were told (very politely) that the minimum order per person must be RM200, even during lunch?! Why wasnât we told during reservation and no where on their website ever stated this requirement. We ended up had a nice meal and we spent way over the minimum. I think the restaurant management needs to resolve the above issues in order for them to be one of the best in KUL.

The menu here is a good varied selection of western and Japanese. There are also many set menus to choose from, including vegetarian options. The interior is plain and simple, and its casual environment is good for families. Portions are generous as well.Thank you ymt888 for your review. I hope you had enjoyed dining at our place.
