Went here with the hopes of good food considering the amount of reviews and the rating. On arrival around lunchtime we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered chicken tikka masala and grilled lobster (by mistake which we would find out) which cost 220 baht per 100g of food, not 220 baht total which we thought sounded reasonable considering all the other food was priced around the same range. Took a long time still considering that we were the only ones there. Chicken tikka masala ended up tasting ok, we got garlic naan x2 which were very good and freshly made. Lobster looked ok, very over decorated with irrelevant vegetables. Only really had meat in the tail and even then it was a very small amount. We finished our meal, got an outrageous price of about 2400 baht for the lobster by itself. Albeit, our fault for not checking the menu more closely but a little inconsiderate on part of the staff who didnât notify us of about how much it would cost. Tried paying with card and was told the machine was down even though explicitly shown on the door they accepted card. Little to no apologies about it being down (again, we were the only ones there when we got there so they would have known about it ahead of time and didnât do anything to notify us). Had my boyfriend come with him by motorbike to pay elsewhere. Overall very unhappy, poor to ok tasting food, no AC, decor was very bland, a wifi sign with an incorrect password written on the napkin holder and inconsiderate/rude staff.

We were staying in Diamond Cliff and was able to locate Tantra within walking distance of our hotel. The restaurant is definitely worth a try as the food quality is awesome. They have a very good ambience and seating arrangement.The prices are somewhat on the higher side but you can ask for a discount and they offer 10%.

He stands at road and begs all passing indins to try his food but after entering his tone changes and he feels we Indians are down market and cheap...If Ur a true Indian then pls stop giving him business and show our power.. Saw this on trip advisor so thought we would give it a try. The place is clean, staff are helpful in suggesting dishes and accompaniment. We enjoyed the meals we ordered and the price was reasonable

Meal - We ordered a Lamb Vindaloo & Chicken Tikka Masala.The Lamb Vindaloo was the mildest Vindaloo I've ever had, very little flavour except for a harsh kick of saltiness. The Chicken Tikka Masala lacked any flavour what so ever. Extremely bland and as with the vindaloo a horrible kick of salt. My partner complained about the Tikka Masala and told staff it was too spicy (it wasn't) so she could change it to a Korma thinking it would have more flavour. The staff were very helpful in changing it to a Korma. The Chicken Korma was also bland, it didn't even have a hint of coconut in it. We had given up at this point to try and get a good meal out of this restaurant. The only saving grace is that the naan bread was nice. Staff- Staff were friendly and helpful, and as requested by the man at the front door here is our TripAdvisor review....Value for money- 1* I wouldn't even consider paying for this sub standard of food again. An average cook can produce better quality of food! We came to this restaurant because of the amazing reviews left on tripadvisor. My personal opinion is stay clear and go somewhere that is better value for money.

I have been to a lot of countries and tried Indian restaurants but I have never been as satisfied with the food as I was here. Authentic Indian meals with the same taste like back home. Their staff Mr. Mann, miss Aye, miss Puja, miss Thin Thin were helpful, the manager was friendly and specially warm towards my parents. The ambience was good topped with Indian music. Snacks like paapdi chat and samosas were available during dinner time as well! My son was specifically pleased when they played the song of his choice. In the crowded street of patong beach, such a spacious and bright place is a treasure. All in all its a nice and cozy place to go with family.

We casually ventured into this restaurant being a vegetarian and without any hopes. Actually it turned out to be an out of box experience. Falafel and veg pizza were excellent. Friends had ordered for Butter Chicken and they literally licked up their fingers, curry was excellent and chicken was perfectly cooked. Top it off with Baklava, which literally melted in mouth.

We had our food at evening time and found good in taste. Seating in open with roofs .. and good ambience make this restaurant great. We had Paobhaji and other food items. Carry your own water bottles here.. or pay 60/- bath for 500 ml water. Can have food here for sure...
