Party-hoppers flock to the wide and whimsical sands of Patong Beach. Mere minutes from the glittery chaos of Patong's many nightclubs, bars and discos, the golden beach is ideal for sunbathing, jet skiing, kayaking and parasailing. If you love creepy guys, this is your place. Wall to wall with leering, sweaty sunburnt men creepily checking out young thai women (and men) like the McDonalds value menu. Worth seeing, but you come away from the place feeling like you're life is slightly more on track than some of the creeps out there.

We booked a 5 hour driver to take us to a few sights in Phuket we wanted to see. Our drivers name was Wi and she was great. Unlike MANY drivers in SE Asia - she drove calmly and safely. It didn't feel like we were in a video game like many other drivers I've been with. She was very friendly with our children and catered to their needs as well. She helped us find a couple local things that we enjoyed too.
Pricing very reasonable.
I also booked a hotel transfer from JW Marriott to the Phuket Airport with them. We had a different driver in a bigger mini-van. He was a bit of a faster driver but still got us there safely and he was friendly. Pricing again was reasonable.
I'd recommend Phuket Tours Transfers and would do business with them again.

Patong Beach

We visited this beach in dec and it was very crowded. This beach is all about: Scorching heat and chilled sea water, multiple food points, shakes, water activities, various people and colorful environment.
We opted for jet ski and it was awesome. After few instructions and a tutorial, the team allowed my husband and I to enjoy the jet ski ride together. The waves were so irregular and we enjoyed it a lot.
There are many food points also where you can enjoy italian, meditteranean, indian and other cousines near the beach. We had italian food and the pizza was really nice, fruit punch (prepared in wine) was also awesome.
We had rented a bike so it was easy to reach this place. We ended up having a nice experience and a tanned body.

Nin Massage

Went to this place on a recommendation here at TripAdvisor so we went to this place to relax and have Thai & Oil massage and it was spectacular it felt so nice afterwards. It was so good that me and my girlfriend almost fell asleep while laying there and getting massage.
This place is highly recommended since they knew what they where doing. I’m a bit big with an athletic body and they massaged it as hard as they had to without it hurt me and they where more gentle with my girlfriend who is more “sensitive”.
We highly recommend this place.

Freedom Beach

Reviewed By Sarah W

I literally chose a point on the map and decided that my family and I should take our first ever tuk tuk ride from Patong to Freedom Beach. When we arrived, we discovered that we were at the top of a cliff! Another unexpected ‘surprise’ was the charge of 200 baht per person to access the beach. Once the finances were settled, we were faced with the very intimidating journey down the uneven concrete steps and ramps. As someone with a recent back injury, I quickly began to panic about how I would ever get back up again later in the day! Thankfully, the view of the perfectly turquoise water and white sandy beach was more than enough to distract me. When we finally reached the sand, we noticed the longtail boats at the water’s edge. After a well-deserved swim in the most perfect water I’ve ever seen, we learned that the longtail boats go to and from Patong Beach regularly... and once I knew I didn’t have to climb back up the cliff, my family and I were able to enjoy ourselves for a full afternoon in paradise, before boarding our ‘rescue’ boat back to Patong (1000 baht for 4 people). Oh, and did I mention that there were no more than 30 - 40 other people on the beach the entire afternoon? A hidden gem!

Good variety and quality of food to suit all tastes at a great price. We went to Malin Market most nights of our 14 night stay in Patong as the food in the hotel we stayed at was very expensive and not great quality.,the variety of foods is incredible in the market and all so tasty, we tried, fish dishes, sea food, BBQ sticks, corn on the cobs, duck and lots of traditional thai food..All cooked in front of us .The drinks in the market were very cheap but good as well. You just collected our food from the stall then went to one of the bars, ordered a drink and ate the food. The atmosphere was also brilliant all the people who served us were so nice. The also do great ice creams of all descriptions with fresh fruit and coconuts .Definitely a place to go for great street food and a true taste of Thai hospitality .

Suwan Khiri Wong Temple(Patong Temple)

Reviewed By ArghyaKolkata - Kolkata

Wat Suan Khiri Wong, or Wat Patong for short, lies in the middle of Patong’s busy development. It is the center of local Thai Buddhism. This Theravada temple features beautiful structures including the main ubosot (chapel), pagoda, monastery hall and statues of Lord Buddha.
There are monks living in the temple and every morning they go through the nearby community to collect food from the villagers who line their route. It is a sight that takes Patong right back to its original roots when the place was just a fisherman’s village years ago.
It is open daily from early morning till late afternoon. It is located In Patong at the junction of Phrabarami and Phisit Karani Road (at the bottom of Patong Hill by the Phuket-Patong Road).
