Had gone for dinner on a Sunday evening. The ambience and soothing classical Indian instrumental music was a welcome change. The restaurant specializes in south Indian cuisine and yes they are specialists. Awesome food, lovely hosts, great ambience and a wide range of delicious items on the menu. The restaurant is a little outside central Tokyo, but worth the distance.

最近はどこの町にも、インドやネパールの料理の店が出来てきました。どこの店も現地の人がやっているので、味は本場、価格は手ごろというのが特徴です。この店でも持ち帰りのランチがお得な価格なので、利用者や常連客も多いようです。

再来週にネパールの方が家に来るのでカレーを食べたい気分に。所沢駅東口にあるヒマラヤンダイニングにランチで行ってきました。注文したのはアジアンセット。好きなカレー一品、ナン、サラダ、生春巻き、ドリンク、デザートのセットで1,000円以内で収まるリーズナブルな価格^_^カレーはチキンカレーをチョイス。ネパールカレーですが、日本人好みに味付けされていて、癖がなく食べやすいカレーです。ナンはモチモチしていて美味しいです^_^お子様カレーもあるので子連れでも利用できるのは有り難いです。単品メニューも豊富で、インドネシア料理のナシゴレンやタイ料理のトムヤンクンなどもあります。ナン焼き体験も500円でやっていて、今度子供に体験させようかと思いました。

日曜日のディナーに利用しました。2人で注文したのは、カレー3種にサラダ、スープ、ドリンクがついたセットに、ビールとタンドリーチキンでした。量が多めだとのクチコミを見ていたので。2人分のセットは食べきれないだろうと、1人分のセットでカレーの種類を増やしました。そうしたら、店員さんはもう一人分のサラダをサービスしてくれたり、美味しい？と聞きに来てくれたりと、とても親切でした。価格も二人で2500円位とリーズナブルでした。
