During my stay in Germany I came across this Chinese Restaurant in Wunstorf. My friend who lives there recommended me this one out of a few which are in town as well. He said that it is a family run restaurant until last year with very friendly owners. The dishes we had were tasty and well presented. The decor of the premises were bit aged but had it's own style. I would ocme again when I stay in Germany.

The Schweer Harms Fischerhaus is a great stopover option for all fish lovers visiting Steinhude. The restaurant has a very friendly service and is located in the middle of the beautiful town of Steinhude. It serves a wide range of different types of fish that even a picky palate won't get disappointed.

The food is good and there is a huge variety, sushi, ice cream, Chinese food and you can choose your fresh ingredients that will be cook as you like. What I missed was the Mongolei food. Had hoped to find something traditional but was disappointed.
If you want to eat a lot it's a great place but don't expect something special.

El Paso

Reviewed By B-Nutzer - Wunstorf, Germany

Don't miss this restaurant! Angelo, the owner/operator takes meticulous care of every aspect of fine dining in this little gem (37 seats) in Luthe, not far from Hannover. He personally welcomes you as you enter and continues to ensure that your dining experience is one not to be forgotten. Do not add salt or pepper to your exquisitely prepared meal. Angelo's two chefs ensure that everything is perfectly seasoned before it leaves the kitchen. The true test of excellence was the arrival of my Argentinian steak and accompanying potatoes and vegetables cooked to absolute perfection without any input of preference from me. And the Sardinian wine recommended by Angelo was second to none.

I visited the Wunstorfer Ratskeller on a Sunday lunchtime after having a birthday party the night before. We went there with 7 people and had a very nice German Schnitzel and Steaks. The food was very well presented and the taste was as good as the presentation.
The service was excellent as the waitress was very attentive and always asked if we need some top up on drinks or food. The price was ok for the food and the service. Will return when I am in town.

We didn't eat at Zauberkessel because it is a vegan restaurant and we aren't so I cannot comment on the quality of the food, however, we did call in for a drink. A table was found for us straight away by the very friendly staff. The interior is very clean and tidy, as are the bathroom facilities.
The interior is decorated in a Medieval style, lighting is by candles and reproduction oil lamps, the staff are dressed in Medieval attire. Drinks are served in reproduction Medieval drinking vessels. All very nicely done. The service was excellent.
There is a small gift shop inside the premises selling all manner of things from bags and scarves to Medieval style knives and candle holders.
Well worth a visit if you are out for an evening in Walsrode.

I came to this suburb of Wunstorf as I had read the good review of the other Italian Restaurant about 600m away (Trattoria) but as it was Tuesday it was closed so I came here instead. It was a beautiful warm evening in May and I was stunned to see this restaurant annexed to a openair swimming area where the water is completely without chemicals due to natural filtration. A very simple Italian restaurant where the indoors is quite nice and the outside Seating is fast food atmosphere which I found a real shame. However the house red is very cheap at only euro 3.50 for a 2dl glass and my pizza was also good value at euro 8. There are a few more choices such as pasta (which I had for lunch) and grilled steak. The pizza was not in a pizza ofen but tasted as if it had been. All in all a very nice experience especially if you can combine it with swimming!
