We walked along the sandy coastal path from Horseshoe Bay calling in at each cove and bay along the way. Jobson's Cove was a real find as there were parrotfish feeding on the algae on the rocks. You could catch a glimpse from the sand but they were content to let you swim close to them and get a real look.

What makes a beach the best : the Sand, the surroundings , the water .... this beach looks So fabulous the colours of it all ! You can See The Bermuda national Bird around , The longtail And planty of chatty kiskadee in The Palms further down near The road .. ask Any taxi driver And they will Tell You where this fabulous beach is . Within 10 minutes walk from Fairmont Southampton hotel , or You can get one of The hotel Pink ride busses to drop You there . A must See!

One of the best Beaches on the island, beautiful sand and not too crowded. We easily spent a day here. Note that there isn't any food stalls on this beach.

Really interesting to watch the young women being trained to work with dolphins. They are so enthusiastic and make rapid progress with each new skill. More than just a dolphin show.

This was my favorite stop in Bermuda, and it was free! I guess it gets pretty crowded, but we had scooters and got here pretty early in the morning, was only a couple other people around. The most picturesque setting you can imagine, a sparkling blue pool, surrounded by caves and jungle. Several different spots to jump from. Found some trails with caves, still not sure if we saw everything, there's no markers or signs, if I had it to do over I'd print a map of the trails. Also, no facilities that I noticed, so wear your bathing suit if your going swimming. We stopped for lunch at the Swizzle Inn afterwards, it was only a couple blocks away.

We used the ferry twice! Once to go from Hamilton to the Dockyard (Blue line) and the other to go from Waterville to Hamilton (red line). It was convenient, inexpensive and absolutely beautiful!

So we took the Route 7 bus 50 minutes to the stop in front of the hotel. Walked what seemed like miles to the resort beach then over to the public beach. This was our second day on a cruise to Bermy and Hurricane Jose was dumping rain on and off. We got to the public beach and we were all alone in the rain and wind. We decided to pack it in and wait for the next bus back to the Dockyard. Note you can buy bus tokens at the visitors center for $4.50 to get there or pay $5.00 cash per person. You need exact change on the public buses. Personally I'll skip Elbow beach if I ever go back to Bermuda

I researched dive shops in Bermuda in advance, as I was visiting there on a cruise ship. I avoided the cruise ship operator, since they tend to run larger groups, and must tailor their dives to the inexperienced diver. From their website, and my advanced contact with them, I thought Blue Water would be a better option.
Unfortunately, Blue Water had to cancel the dives I had scheduled for the first two days of my three day visit, as windy conditions were shutting them down. They were very good about communicating this, so I had time to do other things.
On the second day of my visit, while Blue Water's location was still impacted by the winds, the dive operator at he cruise terminal was able to go out. I went with them, and dove.
On the third day I dove with Blue Water. The boat is large, and well equipped, the Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. They were running with snorkelers, divers and an Open water Class all on the same boat. In other places this would bother me more, but they had the staff so that the groups didn't interfere, and I feel like the dive sites were the ones we were going to get regardless, not like they were choosing them for either the snorkelers or the beginning divers. That being said, the sites were exactly the same ones the cruise ship's operators used that day. This certainly makes one feel there was no benefit to using the more expensive and less convenient option, which I chose in an effort to get to an enhanced experience.
I was disappointed that the dives were limited by time, rather than air consumption. It was made clear in the briefing dives were 40 minutes, regardless of air. At the depths of the sites, this meant surfacing with a lot of left-over air.
The prices for everything are fairly high in Bermuda, but Considering Blue Water offers the same dive sites, and similar service: it was disappointing their prices were considerably higher than the shop at the cruise terminal. If I return to Bermuda I'll use the operator at the cruise port, and save the hassle and expense of getting to Blue Water's shop.

The oldest surviving Anglican church outside of the UK, St Peter's Church in historic old St George's Bermuda is a beautiful example of old world architecture. Entry can be gained either through the front from York Street (climb the steps for a grand entrance - then look back) or through the rear from Church Lane via the churchyard. Be sure to wander slowly through the interior to admire the rich timber structure, the fine collection of communion silver and the beautiful old pipe organ. Take a seat in one of the pews to experience the peaceful ambience of the church interior and then move outside and take a stroll through the two historic graveyards. Take time to read some of the headstone inscriptions to enhance this wonderful historical experience. No wonder the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beautiful art work here- Many of the artists featured were Bermudians. We enjoyed the Gift shop, it seemed that everything there was made in Bermuda- not your usual made inChina souvenir shop. The staff were so very kind and helpful.
Don’t forget to stop at the cafe for a delicious snack
